That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Fair play for this statement but there were many posters who felt the same, some actually saying Everton's transfer business was a lot better than ours despite them losing their best player!

They were always going to struggle with Lukaku going, as it's very difficult to find such a consistent goal-scorer.

One problem is having a Dutch coach.
Arrogant, stubborn and unlikeable and generally not compatible with the English culture.
Guus Hiddink is the exception of course.

I thought they had a good transfer window and Koeman did well since he arrived. That said, they have a lot of new players and it might take some time for the team to settle. Will Koeman be given the time? Hopefully not as another manager might have to change a lot of things this the instability might continue. Must say that I am impressed by the Watford coach so far, if I was to change Koeman I would go for him.

I'm drawing similarities to us losing 'our Luis' to them losing that arrogant lout Lukaku as their one man team tbh.

They didn’t have a good window. They scatter gunned a load of average players so are reaping the rewards of that. If they’d had a good window the players wouldn’t need time to settle a situation we don’t afford our own players.

Simple fact is, you buy average players and you’ll be average and that’s what they’ve done.

It's weird, as I'm really quite sad and unhappy seeing the state our little fellow Merseyside club Tranmere having the really tough season they're enduring presently.
