It's not helping him so much so far, is it? He hardly gets a game especially as we are out of the league cup. I think he would have played more at Arsenal
Klopp never rushes new players into first teams. It is his style also back in Germany. He believes in training and new players missed pre-season wont get a lot of game time immediately. That's why he was so desparated to land all new signings before the pre-season last season.
I think Ox wont be rushed to the first team unless Klopp got no choice. In some press conference, Klopp also mentioned that Ox needs to learn to play in Liverpool system. I think that's explaint why he didnt get much game time.
However, our season is long and we have a lot of chances to play twice a week/ 3 games in 7 days etc. With the versatilities of Ox, I think Ox will become much more important once he adapts in our style of play.
If Klopp doesnt rate Ox or if he doesnt have faith to help Ox to develop, he would not buy him anyway.
I trust him in this aspect, as Klopp seldoms goes wrong when come to development of players or judging potential of players.
The only expensive flop he bought that I remember was Immobile (who is not really a bad player but failed to adapt the style of Bundesliga).
I saw a lot of players that people didnt rate at first turn into a beast under his management. (eg. Lewandowski/ Widenfeller etc.)
