Seems juventus have dropped interest in Can ! Didn't they say they doubt we'd sell Can in January, they will be back in the summer when he's on a free, he can do a deal in January, seems he will move on, he's a good player, but he's in and out, with Keita arriving I guess he thinks he will struggle to get games. I hope we keep him, but it's looking unlikely.

I was impressed with James Tarkowski for Burnley when they played us, he looked a solid CB and composed on the ball, a few good passes, he has PL experience and probably get him for a decent price, might be worth a look in January?

Virgil van Dijk has risked his “reintegration” at Southampton by insisting he has “no regrets” over his failed move to Liverpool and reiterated his desire to leave, possibly in January. You would think a move to City looks fav there as it's looking more and more likely Kompany is breaking down regularly now...ofcorse maybe an imminent Premier League Championship medal will always be a big pull too....we could always offer him a seventh place finish and a chance to play under world class defensive coach Jurgen Klopp...no decision really is it...

Klopp probably told him he would build the team around him, Man City or Chelsea won't guarantee him a starting place, that's a guess, only VvD knows. Why did Shearer turn down Fergy and guaranteed trophies at Utd to join Blackburn, then did the same again when he went to Newcastle...... Le Tissier was one of the most gifted players ever to play in England, why did he never leave Suuthampton to win trophies/earn more money? Some players have different motivations.

I also think the attacking style we play and the "Klopp factor" also is a key factor for players to choose us over them.

He hardly gets a game especially as we are out of the league cup. I think he would have played more at Arsenal
