Agree with this, don't forget he rewarded Lovren with a new 5 year contract as well!

Weird

Apparently his whole body is broke, especially the defensive bit....

Maybe we should go back to the sponge the physio (usually an old ex player) would bring on and rub on the offending sore bit hehehe

All go's back to why Klopp should have bought more CB cover, this is the sort of thing that happens, but to be fair to Klopp, we've played about 10 games, 6 weeks into the season, one of our first team CB shouldn't be falling apart at this stage????

His press conference after the Spurs game was really sad. His answers get longer and more rambling and he offers no solutions to fix the team problems.
I want him to man-up, kick some asses, drop the no-hopers, inspire some of the fringe players, bring in some loan players.
Change tactics.

Have to agree with that, I want Klopp to succeeded, but damnit he's got to help himself too, and so far he's making a dogs dinner out of it. Yeah kick some ass and show some leadership, yeah I have to agree with that.

I think what he is losing is the fans.

5-0 and 4-1 doesn't sit right.

Fans are pretty much 50/50 on him I think

I think it's a very dangerous time for Klopp. Not because I think he's close to getting sacked. He's at the start of the 'doubting period' though. He's reaching the point with certain fans where he'll get certain things thrown his way. We've seen it before with Benitez and Rodgers. For Benitez it was 'cares more about Europe than league', zonal marking and 'needs to play with the handbrake off'. For Klopp it will be defensive signings or quote about 5 defenders better than our current lot, touchline antics and something about tactics and winter breaks. There's a touch of truth in all of them but they'll get thrown his way more and more by certain fans.

Why it's a dangerous time is that football fans become very entrenched in their opinions. Once an opinion has been made then it's hard for people to change their mind. Seems particularly so for something as emotive as football. For some people last January's form+ transfer strategy + start to this season will be enough to have serious doubts. For others it will be matter of a few more poor results before those seeds of doubt grow bigger.

I'm not saying that these doubts are wrong by the way. I think once those doubts manifest in a significant part of the supporter base then it's likely to be the beginning of the end for a manager. Klopp isn't there yet but I suspect he's going that way if we have bad November.

The next few games our paramount to get everyone on the same page. Shoring up the defence will be key to this. However does he try and solidify the defence through radical personnel changes and/or tactical changes? Or does he think we need to attack the likes of Huddersfield, Maribor, WHU, Soton etc.. and keep the same tactical system in place? It's going to be very interesting what he does and it's probably one of the biggest tests in his managerial career so far.

Interesting theory.
It could explain why he doesn't seem to be bothered.
