Obvously Milan Jonavanovic! Watched him against Ghana. Looked very good! Krasic looked rubbish!

Mesut Ozil of Germany is class! Would also love the reds to get a hold of Phillip Lahm!

So far Ozil, Lahm, Gyan, Howard, Heskey, Mertesacker, Messi, Eneyema, Park, Godin, Macherano, Kingston have shone, as in a 8/9/10 out of 10 performance so far.

Biggest flops so far have been, Krasic, whole of French team, Suarez, Higuiam, the offensive side of Nigeria bar Yakubu (mids and fwds) awful set pieces as well. Green, Wright Philips, Chaouchi, Zigic.

Is it just me or bar tonights Germany thrashing this world cup has been preety awful. Performances have been played at slow tempos, or fast at really really low quality. Also the horns are ok, but when you go to matches in which the supporters for those teams are known for singing just STOP, in the England game did my head right in that, couldn't even hear the band playing properly eithier frown What's even the point in have best fans at a tournament if they can't even make any impact on a match. Bar SA there is no 12th man for any team

18 now so can only remember 02 world cup onwards and that for me was by far the best tournament of the last decade international wise.

Upcoming world class players IMO for 2014 WORLD CUP:
K-P Boateng, Gotze, Sturridge, Kroos, Lucas Leiva, Hummels, Kyriakos Papadopoulos,

Ozil played well. but no disrespect, he is playing against an Australia. He will be tested against the Ghanians and Serbs. Lets judge him not on one game.

So far, I am quite impressed with the Ghanians and Koreans. They will give anyone a run for their money.

Gerrard was comfortably England's best player,Heskey held the ball up ok but fluffed the best chance to win the game

Ozil and Eneyema have been excellent

i dont see the point in having heskey out there, seriously i dont care if you can hold a ball up and bring your team mates into play, if you are a striker you should be looking to score goals, heskey cant score goals so he should of left him out of the 23

With you there Steg. If his chance had fell to any of our other attackers, they would have scored. And this is a man we wanted to buy!!!! There is a stat somewhere that says about the old Columbian goalkeeper scoring more international goals than Heskey!

I liked the look of Ozil last night. I would like him here but if he continues like that we'll need the takeover to happen to stand a chance of getting him.
