I have argued in my posts on here that Klopp should buy more defenders and focusing on VvD was foolish and we should have bought an alternative when it was obvious we wouldn't sing VvD, so you'll get no argument from me on us strengthening defense.
People asked why we bought Ox, so I gave the reasons as I saw them, it wasn't a mistake buying him IMO, he strengthens MF squad, which needed more depth, especially with Lucas going and Henderson fitness an unknown, not buying CB(s) was a mistake, we should have bought Ox and a CB (I think we need 2 actually), buying Ox had nothing to do with not buy a CB as we had the money as we bid for VvD, we have spent £12 million defenders in 2 years, you get what you pay for, Klavan was a £4million CB and looks it, you can't blame him for that, we was meant to be 4th choice and play a few games a season the cups to rest the first 3 choices.
As for the knee jerk, there have been allot of posts slagging Ox off after he played the other night, he didbn't play well, like most of the team, he's a new player who should be given time, he's joined a struggling team, so I think some people (not meaning you) have going OTT on it abit.
Ok. One comment/question though, is Ox a central midfielder, I don't think I have seen him play there, have you?

If that was the case why buy Ox? I’m struggling to understand that one myself too. Was it to appease the fans? Also we massively overpaid for him, so why? Is it possible, as Sixties often says, Klopp doesn’t see Hendo being able to play the season out, due to his heel problem? Very strange signings otherwise, given the needs elsewhere in the side. I don't know why fans would be appeased by buying someone we don't really need at a record fee me either, unless Klopp was trying to make amends for failing to secure his two top targets. Then again maybe not, anyway it was a weird decision to sign him imo. As we desperately needed to sort out far more pressing problems.

To be honest although I don't rate Klopp as a manager I have to admit this all out attack and woeful defending is very enjoyable to watch even though we will never win anything with him, I really don't mind going to home games as I know it will be a good watch if nothing else..
I can handle you coming back as a 70s Italian house DJ, but WTF is all this about? Your actually enjoying something??!!

Your actually enjoying something??!! when it comes to watching the team I have found I am more, calm, relaxed and enjoy it more since I finally accepted we are no longer the Club we used to be and have no chance of ever dining at the top table again. I used to come on and argue and moan about the Club because I still in my heart thought we could do something about it and maybe return to the old days but now know their never coming back and are gone forever unless a Leicester, Istanbul miracle happens. Like I say if we play our strongest teams in the domestic cups we could win one of those but having a manager like Klopp that's sadly not going to happen with his stance and as people have pointed out he's a stubborn man so it won't change while he's here. Domestic success is better than no success at all and at least it will make us happy and give us a memory...top four will never give you that...

I don't remember him playing there, but I don't watch Arsenal regularly, he's not really been a regular for them, I remember him playing more on the right whenever I have seen him, which isn't allot. I'm guessing one of the things Klopp likes with Ox is that he is flexible, Klopp gets the players rotating around do short passing and moving the ball/positions, so he might start on the wing and move in field, swapping with a CM player, Klopp's end game is to have us quite fluid by the looks of it, abit like the Dutch 70's idea of total football where any player can play anywhere, looks like Moreno was an early adopter with a LB on the Right Wing !!!
