£100-£120m (the price of 1 x Coutinho?) should bring them all in, and would be a huge improvement on what we've got now.
Toby Alderweireld next season will be playing in the best stadium in the world, in a team with some of the best young players in the country, for one of the brightest young managers in Europe, living in London and playing for a club we have finished ahead of about once in ten years.
Why on earth would he want to swap them for us.

Best stadium in the world?? time will tell.
Living in London? you say that as if its a good thing!!

The reality is that their temporary ground may well cause them to miss out on CL football next season. Furthermore, he's a professional footballer with an agent.....the best players won't hang around long under the Spurs wage structure. TA is a very realistic target for us.

Hey! What's wrong with London!

Fuckk all imo, except for the gobshites who rule from there, they do pollute it considerably, otherwise it would be one of the worlds greatest cities. But sure the north westerners never paid them no mind anyway TBTG...

Unfortunately we may or may not like London but these foreign and International players do and in the past it's been a deciding factor in them choosing them over us.
I personaly think playing at Wembley will really hurt Spurs, they will be lucky to qualify for top four and the likes of Harry Kane might not stick around, having said that I only speak in the short term there, long term I fully expect Spurs to really kick on with there new stadium and bigger finances.
Without being bitter or Jelous I think Spurs new stadium looks fantastic especially there kop style terrace which is gonna rival Dortmunds yellow wall nearly 20k...can't wait to see what it looks like wen its finished...

Tottenham will have a few interesting years trying to hold onto their best players, no doubt the likes of Walker will be telling the rest how much City are paying him, so they will struggle to keep hold of the best players, Harry Kane is abit different as he is homegrown and a fan, so I expect he will stay unless they decline.

I mentioned Toby Alderweireld a while back when his contract talks were reported as stalling, he'd be a great buy, excellent CB, used to PL and probably available as he wants allot more pay.

I won't comment on what they could call the wall if things aren't going well..... wink

This post is spot on. Out of all the top teams we are the only one without a top goalkeeper and our centrebacks are the worst out of the top 6, probably even the top 10. We're also the only team without a top striker. Our main striker isn't even a striker. Firminio's only got 2 goals in the league. Compare that with Lukaku, Kane, Morata, Aguero, Jesus. Unfortunately that's the main reason we'll miss out on top 4 this year.

There are only 2 teams who scored more than us but 17 who have conceded less. It's very clear that the problem is not about strikers

And still there are often games where we struggle to score. eg Burnley, Leicester in cup and several games I could name last season.
