Am i the only one who doesn't want some multi-billionaire buying the club and throwing millions at players?
Perhaps i'm a tad old fashioned but i was brought up on the core values of this club, the Liverpool way. I've always believed that success is earned through hard work, ability and ingenuity. I have my ups and downs through life yet i never cry out for some-one to come and bail me out, some-one to give me large amounts of money.
This club is unique and we shouldn't forget that. We certainly shouldn't follow the likes of Chelsea and Man City. Many people dislike the methods of these clubs yet want the same for ours. It's just never been what we're about and who's to say that any new owners won't do exactly what the yanks have done.
This club would be far better off in the hands of people who care for it; the fans. It's why i've pledged my £500 to Share Liverpool. If we're successful in a takeover then at least it will allow us to retain our own unique identity and ensure we remain a club for the fans, rather than some rich mans money making venture.

the club will have no value if we dont get a rich owner in who will spend on quality players which we badly need, the liverpool way is the old way sorry but its a fact of the modern game especially with man city splashin the cash on who ever and whatever they wish, we will get left behind further if we dont get some top quality in.

Our club is one of the richest in the world. With our annual turnover, we're easily in the top 10, something that can't be said of the likes of Inter Milan, Porto, etc. They haven't done too badly recently, have they?
Regardless, we've always been able to compete in the transfer market. If Share Liverpool were to take over then all profit would be re-invested. I'd rather see that than become just another club who's bought success. After all, look at all of the european cups that the likes of Chelsea and Man City have managed to buy.
