I don't think it'll be the red carpet treatment.

Many have seen right through his bullsh1t now, and getting his family involved shows weakness of character imo.
He should have told them to keep well out of it.

If he plays well and gives it his all, creating and scoring goals, the fans will be happy and cheer him, the same as it was for Suarez.

He's probably told most of them quotes from the press office, giving the corporate spin. He has no real affiliation with Liverpool, I'm sure he didn't grow up in Brazil dreaming of coming to England and playing for us, most South American players dream of playing for the Spanish & Italian giants, the money in the PL means we are now buying more of them.

Leave him alone, he just needs a hug and he will be fine again.

I would expect that, if he stays injury free, Mane will have a massive season and will be chased with mega-money deals next summer. And if we cant offer him better quality team mates and trophies and medals who could blame him/

I cant get angry at any player who wants to leave and play for Barcelona and I can't get angry at a player who isn't committed to more than a short to medium term contract either.

Replacing a decent player is the problem though, because Liverpool have such a poor scouting and recruitment setup that unless we "get lucky", good quality replacement players are simply not acquired and slotted in immediately.
