I don't rate Lovren at all but as a team we don't defend well, it's not just the defenders. We have one tactic which is the high press and that's it. We can't defend set pieces, we can't sit in and keep it tight and we crumble under the smallest element of pressure. The bigger issue here is tactics and coaching, it's obvious to me that Klopp rates attacking qualities higher than defensive one's, why else would he pick Moreno?
I wonder what we do in training because it sure as hell isn't anything to do with defending!
I've said it before and apologise for the repeat, but there's little or no difference between Klopp's style of play and Rodgers style of play it's all about attack, attack attack. Now I'd love that style of play if there was a defence to back it up when attack breaks down, as it inevitably and regularly will, but there wasn't then, and there isn't now. As I often said when Rodgers was here that defending was his Achilles heel and that if he didn't or couldn't sort it out it would be fatal for him, and so it proved. I don't have to say that about Klopp because it so patently obvious that it'll prove fatal for him too, because frankly I don't think he knows what to do about this shambolic defence we have, and also imo much of the problem stems from his own playing tactics, which is based on; "defending from the front" Shyte and "attacking from the back" Shyte.
