Didn't you just say we are not a big club anymore?
Doesn't that also tell you that we have as little chance of winning these 2 cups as we have winning the PL?
And if we are the only club that doesn't start with the best XI every match then surely we won't have any chance against Manure, Chelski, Citeh, Arsenal and Spuds?
What's the point of taking the píss out on our manager when we have nothing to look forward against anyway?
We are a mid table club according to you, and we have no chance of climbing back up there either, so just sit put and relax and enjoy the ride against a 10:th place fininsh next May.
Not that I think you will still be in here by then, but that's another Issue, Ford! ok then you tell me what's on offer for a club like ours ? Let's look at what we know, firstly we don't compete in domestic Cups as the Wolves game last season shows, next is as soon as we have a player who progresses to a certain standard a bigger club comes in for him see Torres, Suarez, Sterling and probably soon to be Coutinho next might be Mane so given this how on earth are you expected to build a team to challenge for major trophies, the other point is that the FA Cup and League Cup are not priorities for the really big Clubs, yes they might win them if they can't win a major but those Cups are fantastic targets for clubs like ourselves, Spurs, Everton, Stoke, West Brom and West Ham and I will never understand why these teams play weak teams. My stance on us is simple, we used to be a big Club but sadly no longer, bigger more powerful clubs have emerged while we were drifting unfortunately to the point we will never get back. We know what you think as you've been saying that all the time. What's the point of repeating that all the time, are you some kind of a parrot? What exactly is the point of your posts apart from we are not a big club anymore? i repeat what I say for the simple reason the problem keeps on arising time and time again....simple, until we address these problem we will all keep going around and around in circles. I think the biggest part in the Coutinho saga not to mention the heartache fans are feeling is the refusal to let go of the past and realise we are no longer that club no more and there are bigger clubs in the food chain than us now, you never hear other Clubs like Southampton, Spurs or West Ham fans spitting there dummies when they're best players left... Southampton fans hate us.

If Coutinho goes we better be signing a top CB and CM as a priority. And stop pillaging Southampton FFS, it's obvious they no longer want or need to sell to us, I'm sure there are other good players who will be sold for the right money.

It's a catch 22 situation, we unearth or buy a player, turn him into a top draw player to win us trophies and the big clubs just take him from us so we can never build anything. I think it's what keeps the status quo of the Leagues where smaller clubs are preyed on by mid table clubs and mid table clubs are preyed on by big clubs...an age old problem. The only chance you might have is we found about 8 top class Steven Gerrard's or Wayne Rodney's whose dream was to play for there home town Club and not really interested in playing for big clubs, keep them together for about 6 years and then you could build. Having said that kids growing up now don't think like that, they don't have the love or pull for there home clubs like they did back in the day and will sign for big clubs, Wayne Rooney is living proof unfortunately. You see spango you have the capacity to talk sense when you want , this is a harsh reality but it's true , such a reality keeps putting the brakes on LFC's train every time we get a an opportunity to propell ourselves . , why do you then go around implying offensive things and painting an image of a person who wants to see LFC stuck in limbo ???

I make comments based on what I have experienced and seen, to be honest and I don't want to offend anybody but I would say my judgement on the Club is closer to the truth because I am no longer emotionally attatched to the club unlike the majority in here so that means I am not biased and don't show blind loyalty which ofcorse clouds a persons judgement. The Club has been on a downward spiral for over 20 years now both on and off the pitch and the reasons for this are well known all I do is point them out and because there are still supporters who still believe in the club, think we will get back to the top or have the fans best interests at heart then they are always going to be at loggerheads or conflict with me so no probs I am more than happy to accept this and point out the Clubs woes... What a trooper. Thank you thank you thank you

How can you say we can still get top targets? How long have we been cocking about with them?
It's time to move on and just because you move on to alternatives doesn't mean you have to lower the quality of your targets. You think Klopp wanted this to drag on??? If it was klopps way things would be fast, Their is an internal standoff in the board room the infamous transfer commitee hasn't changed , FSG won't pay the valuation , Klopp won't move on... Did you hear of Klopp potentially walking out ??? They seem just whispers but apparently FSG would've sold Coutinho if it was a month earlier despite klopps reluctance which would have made him walk away , The press conference saying " he has bosses, selling Coutinho is out of his control " this compared to initial statement of "I have the first and last say of all transfers " Klopp also mentions he doesn't control loanees, which may suggest he has no control of any facet of transfer offers , It seems FSG signing Klopp was more a way to appease the fans working within strict limits regardless of increase TV revenue or +netspend , without considering klopps ambitions to take his coaching career to the next level, Klopp wants to win the EPL with or without LFC, it seems the club may be in a stand off internally ... Can the fans push FSG to spend??? Or do we push Klopp to find a plan B??? Wouldn't you rather back the one that we can truly trust is in it for the fans??? If that means overpaying on an outlier once in a blue moon isn't that a safer bet than trusting FSG who we still cannot trust??? It is just pure speculation on your part that there is some kind of stand off in the boardroom. And Klopp walking out, if it's the same rubbish that WW posted on here, was from Facebook FFS! The club as a whole fukked up the VVD deal and Klopp played his part in that so if he wanted it to go quicker he should've been whiter than white to get it done. You keep saying we should over pay but even at £50m VVD will be the most expensive CB of all time so for me that is over paying. He's spent months chasing a midfield target that was never for sale and who's club never made any noises to the contrary. Why? It's now time to move onto other targets. That doesn't mean that quality has to suffer. You can't tell me there isn't another CB or midfield player that wouldn't strengthen us. But the one thin g that will suffer if we don't move on is the team and how we perform and that is more my concern than any stupid internal games that may or may not be going on. You make a good point and it's true their quakity beyond VvD, But I think it's kindve beyond the point . It is speculation but remember BR toeing the line to sign balotelli , it was balotelli or nothing , I guarantee it's the same situation and Klopp doesn't want to toe-the-line hence the standoff I think is happening , granted speculation but don't be surprised I'm correct or you can copy this message and re-post if I'm wrong , but Klopp is furious with the lack of backing he is getting but where I'm frustrated is that Conte and Benitez have the cojones to hang their owners out to dry, Klopp continues to protect them , but considering his press conferences of recent he may be changing that. Short term pain long term gain , mate I'd be as happy as anyone is we got a laporte, koulibally, gimenez But with all things considered Klopp has a point, with considering FSG's rule of re-sale value on top everything else, it does severely limit klopps options and I understand why he won't back down for VvD & Kieta so in sorry but technically saying its klopps fault is like saying it's his fault that he isn't toeing the line like BR did, from his views short term pain , if he can change the dynamic in the board room , it'll be better in the long run, With current squad ??? We ain't getting top 4 ,whether Klopp should have alternates is redundant (theirs a point where he deserves some faith) in klopps eyes any FSG alternative Won't change our prospects , So it's easy to blame Klopp on the surface, this runs deeper, Infect FSG's flaws and lack of ambition are so blatantly obvious that it's somewhere engulfed us rendering them invisible, how?? Because it's old news to blame FSG or too repetitive , so we find blame in other areas using other scapegoats which are only the result of deeper layer of poor management , Moreno, mingnolet, Klopp, lovren aren't the problem is my point . The problem goes as back as a bunch of Tw.ats removing dalglish for BR, it isn't rocket science , to now refusing to pay up, and the greatest trick they pulled is we as fans actually think FSG are offering money when in reality the reports of their bids are just lame , they know it and so do you VvD £50m was always the starting price
