if he doesnt win the league he will get sacked probably, simply because inter have by far in my opinion the best squad in serie a, where as when he came over here we didnt have the best squad and still havent, reason why we need a sheikh to help us out alot lol

Yep, I go along with that.

But I still expect him to achieve great things (during his Inter rein) in the Champions League, and as it currently stands, he doesn't have the best squad in that competition.

He's got a lot to live up to though after they've just won the treble - the only way is down really so a bold move on his part IMO

thats all he's able to do, be a thorn. he might win the league, he might not, i just wouldnt rate him as one of the greats, not by a long shot. he's like a a flashy council house. (and before anyone takes offence, i got my apartment from the council). (and its flashy.)

i dont think he will, he will change the way they play into defensive football and find it hard against the bottom table teams. they only committed to a 2 year contratc which means if he messes up the first season wont cost much to offload him

Mate, with all due respect, CHANGE to defensive football?? That's what they essentially were under Mourinho. A prodominently defensive counter attacking side.

This is what I couldn't, & still don't understand, about people who criticised Benitez for his defensive play, but then wanted Mourinho in instead. The guy's teams play defensive football. The only time you'll see him go all out Fergie like attacking, is when they are in the sh&t, i.e. a couple of goals down. And that hardly ever happened now, did it?

the defensive football you talk of that mourinho used was in the champions league i didnt see it being adopted in serie a. i dont think people wanted mourinho because of his style of play i think they want him because he brought success and passion to every club he has been to.

were you watching liverpool fc last season? we were down in most games we played either that or just shot blanks. and if benitez needs to buy masch hijack the deal with jovanovic and wants kuyt.. why would you need to do what with a team like inter?

His style suited to Italy more than England, i think.
