Football 365?? Must be true. F365 are really good. They don't make stuff up. They just print the usual gossip that appears on other sites. They do give their opinion on some rumours and the writers have won awards Yeah that's what I thought too Bo, but wilkij seems to think they're talking rubbish, but imo if anyone's talking rubbish it's the Echo, and whilst I think they do spout a lot of FSG pr Shyte, I've always found them to be ok as far as any Jurno's can be ok...

All the media are running the same stories, there's also not that much top class talent around, so its easy for the media just to link us to all the top players, after we made the statement we are going to strengthen and compete, it's easy to link us.
I believe it when we sign them, the Salah deal surprised me that we got over the line, when deals drag on like that they tend to collapse, so that was a pleasant surprise !!!

I do think they all spout rubbish especially when it comes to transfers. The amount of player links that come out during the window, I can't see how 95% of them aren't rubbish. This is why I don't get wound up either way when I read something in the media. Anyway, as for us not getting a LB, that'd be so fukking stupid it's untrue! Even if we just try the fella from Hull that we've been linked with (probably not true though based on my thoughts on the gossip  ) a new LB is a must.

Also doesn't make sense not to sell a LB we have no intention of using (Moreno), may as well sell him and use the money for the Hull LB, at least he will be useable, can't be any worse than having to play a midfielder at LB.

It's still (very) early days, but if we keep persisting on getting £ 15 m for Moreno before going for a new LB, then I agree - it's stupidity almost insanity from our suits and FSG.
We do need a new top class LB, so a few £ m more or less shouldn't stand in our way of our upgrade needs.

It's still (very) early days, but if we keep persisting on getting £ 15 m for Moreno before going for a new LB, then I agree - it's stupidity almost insanity from our suits and FSG.
We do need a new top class LB, so a few £ m more or less shouldn't stand in our way of our upgrade needs. The amount of money being thrown around on poor to average players is shocking. £15mil or nothing. He will go. He won't want to waste another season on the bench.

Of course, but it's more important that we get the replacement than holding out until 29:th August to get exactly £ 15 m instead af that Swansea rumour of £ 13 m.
Get it done and move on. We have other needs too, and need to get going instead of wasting precious time on a player we don't want to keep.

The fact remains we will be going into another new season woefully under equipped for a much longer season ahead, it's the FSG way!
