Sorry for calling you idiotic and all that, I'm sorry it's not fair to say that to people , Infact I'm idiotic for thinking VvD will be win us the league or champions league . , but that's okay I'm just obsessed that he is a pivotal signing for us given how things happened, even more significant now , so yes I believe with VvD LFC will win the league or champions league next season . just my silly opinion
This whole topic is just a continuous anger-filled rampage I have on FSG , when I think of FSG's handling throughout the years , I feel such a frustration that I sometimes lose sight of the fact that as fans above all we should as one for the club and civil and respectful in our diverse opinions I agree with that. My reasoning ? (a) LFC fans motivated by transfer "victory" by signing VvD gives us momentum early season (b) his actual quality and leadership will be extremely significant against "smaller" clubs to dominate the ball and close out tight games during Nov-Jan fixtures (c) the positive vibes within LFC dressing room of having a leader with quality: players are aware of transfer negotiations and also would feel down if we miss out on top targets as the signing will boost them (d) VvD to form good partnership with salah/mane with his cross field pass to play on counter attack (E) despite VvD ability , the opposition players will be affected psychologically by a team that got their top target , overspending worksin our favour here , as psychologically we are no different to man city or Chelsea teams who have success recently - this can give us a psychological edge in games We can always get player who does a solid job for cheaper But it'll will always be the second choice and won't have that motivational boost as VvD So yes VvD will win us the league !!! If that makes me crazy then so be it!!! When did you find out he was so great, I don't recall you mentioning it until the recent rumours? The guy has been off for half a season and probably had one good year in the EPL. If you were talking about Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez, I would have understood but VVD?

LFCDownUnder, are you Van Dijk's love child by any chance? Because you seem absolutely obsessed with the guy. I know plenty other supporters who are obsessed with him as well. I've seen enough off him to know that he would be an amazing signing for us. He is a brilliant player. In an absolutely different league to Lovern and better than Matip as well

I've seen enough off him to know that he would be an amazing signing for us. He is a brilliant player. In an absolutely different league to Lovern and better than Matip as well So why are Real Madrid or Barcelona not after him then, they are always after the best world class players? In fact they both need a good CB.

You are right, this is why we bought Suarez for 23m and sold him to Barca for 80m and United bought Ronaldo for 15m and sold him for 90m or so. This is why we should not pay 70m for VVD because he is not considered the best CB in the world unlike the asking price.

We are going in circles, let's stop focusing on out differences and start focusing on other things we agree on.
So we both love LFC, we both want to see LFC win the league and champions league , we both want to see that success with Klopp and FSG , we want to see a dynasty being created at LFC..

I would spend 100million to get Suarez back, he's world class and can also win us the league . I've had this view throughout the season and I think he is the one truly world class player that would steam roll deep defending teams and win us the league and champions league
Do we agree that "if" any one player can win us the league , it would be Suarez??? If not who? And what fee would be reasonable ?
