KOPTALK sources have so far claimed things in the following order:
* Rafa sacked to make way for new owner
* Sheikh Khalifa trying to buy the club
* Khalifa camp have identified their own manager
* Dalglish wanted job but unable to take it because of potential club sale and new owner's preferred appointment
* No bust-up between Purslow and Dalglish but Dalglish feels he can't stay at Anfield - not left at the time of publication
* Purslow NOT to blame but campaign by Rafa loyalists will try to discredit him further
* New owner did NOT turn down Dalglish as had own plans before Dalglish request
* Bid to buy club NOT rejected
* If Hicks continues to price himself out of a sale, the Royal Bank of Scotland, the club's lender, are already threatening to recall their loans or demand that he and Gillett sell Liverpool in a matter of months
* Our source continues to maintain that all of these developments (Rafa sacking, Dalglish possible exit) are related to Sheikh Khalifa's attempts to buy the club but they insist that any negative pressure put on Purslow by the fans could seriously jeapordise this takeover
