The back pass isn't banned. The goalkeeper taking it up with his hands is though!

I will be kind and defend him and say by the sounds he may not be old enough to remember when goalkeepers could pick the ball up from back passes.

Your original post was incorrect, the back pass has never been banned. What changed was that goalkeepers were no longer allowed to pick up the ball following a back pass.

Also I don't understand why you feel the need to have digs at people by suggesting they aren't old enough, that's at least twice this week and it's uncalled for to say the least.

I think you will find leopards do chance their spots depending on location and environment all animals adapt via variants including humans. So stick that in your pipe

No need to defend me, better to be young than old and back pass hasn't been banned yet, think before you write.

listen I am not having a dig at anyone, if a person doesn't understand the term the back pass rule in the context it was used in then you can't blame a person for thinking the poster might be too young to remember when it was enforced. I think it was introduced back in 1992 which would mean people watching or going the match who would of been about ten years of age would have to be older than say about twenty five years of age or older to now to remember it, so it's quite reasonable for me to assume the poster might be twenty five years of age or younger for him to not remember or understand what I am talking about when mentioning the backpass rule.

Then you should have written backpass to the goalkeeper rule change, I thought you were the WiseOne
