I think it is time Lucas left and I also think Stewart won't be far behind him because he isn't good enough even as a squad player.
Yeah I think you are right there. If Stewart was a better player he would be on the bench ahead of Lucas.
Has Stewart been given a decent chance though? he must be crap if Lucas is keeping him out, he is seriously off the pace, I guess Klopp see's him in training, I can't understand why Lucas was on the bench when we have Stewart/Grujic/Eljaria to give some energy and movement at least.
I agree 100%. Stewart has only been given occasional appearances and then dropped regardless of his performances, but he looks far better than Lucas. Grujic and Eljaria surely deserve some real game time also. And Lucas? I am not sure what a "loyal servant" is. I know that when he joined the club he could not get into the team because we had other midfielders far better than him (Masch and Xabi) and it was only after they left and the
then owners would not spend on decent replacements, that Lucas was still hanging around and ended up a team regular.
