I think all players that feel they are more important than the club should be allowed to leave. Yeah it might be a bit of football manager 2010 reasoning here but; we should sell Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano if they don't want to stay. No player is bigger then the club. Look at what happened with and to Owen.

They are all world class but if there hearts aren't in it?
Get the money settle some debt and try and get decent replacements. I see this as a new era and it is not as harsh as some predict. Gerrard had one of his worst seasons ever. Torres was in the treatment room more often than I care to remember. Masch has personal issues and wanted to go last time around.

Then get rid of Benayoun, Reira, Lucas and Insua as well. And build a decent team. Or let's ready for a relegation scrap with Everton.

I agree it a new era for Liverpool but we can not afford to sell our top players because of the new UEFA rules coming in. We don't have time to rebuild, the squad we have is more than capable of top 4, we need to keep it together and use transfer money to strengthen it not renew it.

But please lets hope we get 10m for babel! infact i would personally pay to get rid of him and Ngog!
