The Henderson pass yesterday was special, superb vision and technique. The difference however is De Bruyne does passes like that most weeks that directly lead to goals.

I'm a fan of Henderson but I feel sometimes he is too safe and takes the easy sideways or backwards pass. He has a lot of ability, as the pass yesterday and Chelsea goal shows, I just wish he would do that more. I honestly believe it's down to a lack of belief in himself, nothing to do with his actual ability.

I agree, Klopp is trying to bring that out of him to take more chances, I think the crowd also give him more support and see what he is trying to do compared to when he first joined and was getting pelters due to the fee. Henderson has always struck me as a confidence type player, like Lovren is, but seems more resilient now and doesn't let the crowd get too him.

The current system suits him as he can go forward knowing there is cover around him, he was also under the shadow of Gerrard, so his main objective was to win the ball and give it Gerrard, like the rest of our midfielders were, who would deliver a killer pass like De Bruyne does.

Apart being a workhorse, Henderson has been a killer passer for a long time and he is always looking where to pass to before getting the ball. He however sometimes make mistakes and passes it to the opponent in dangerous positions, the vision is there, the skill is sometimes behind. He will only get better. Playing against Yaya will be a big test

You guys can't be serious. Captain clumsy Henderson makes a couple of decent passes and he is a maestro(?), yet he gives away possession in dangerous positions and is skinned numerous times by opponents and it goes unnoticed.

Since we have had Wij in the middle the gaping midfield hole has disappeared and this is because he covers good space, is a good tackler and passer, is comfortable on the ball and generally is a decent footballer.

If you checked the number of times his passes have created the breach and we went on scoring you won't say that. Without him we wouldn't have won the Chelsea game for sure. Yes he is no Gerrard and not silky but is doing a very good job

have to disagree with you there Henderson is a dreadful player, nothin more than a nodding dog with his tongue hanging out, am in despair every time I see this man lead the team out shows how far the club has sunk, dunno what big Ron Yeats, Emlyn, Souey, Phil Thompson and Alan Hansen would make out of it...

You surely know more than Klopp, Rodgers and KD together, Genius. Which team are you managing again?

I obviously do know more than them if they think Henderson is a good player, the man is woeful, yes he has determination and yes he's very energetic I will also go as far as to say he's an honest player the only problem is he's talentless and has no composure whatsoever I even bet he closed his eyes just before he hit that shot against Chelsea...

oh please...I can't cope with all these names, great, wise, powerful, clever and now Genius honestly All I do is use my own view point about what I see so although all those names are very nice and appreciated you really don't need to keep telling me how good I am as I already know..
All I am saying is Henderson is an awful player and I am wondering is it because we have had such poor players playing for us that long that players of this calibre are now seen as good...I wonder..
