Interesting he started yesterday, I am guessing the club has spoken to him about what happened, but he is innocent until proven guilty, so will have to wait and see what happens when he appears in court, if found guilty I expect the club to act then. can remember big Jan getting done for DD and also Duncan Ferguson 2 days after joining Everton can't remember what action the clubs took it was that long ago now... It was pretty much the done thing back then, I remember when Fergy went to United and broke up the drinking ring of Robson/McGrath/Whiteside etc, it was normal back then. I saw an interview with Souness talking about when he went to Italy, he got on the coach after his first game with a pack of 6 cans and they couldn't believe he would drink like that after a game, he was told it stopped and it did, he said it made him a better player compared to what he was used to in England. Will be interesting to see how we deal with him, if we are too harsh I can see the headlines with allot of interested clubs like PSG etc sniffing around him if he is 'unsettled/upset' by his treatment, can easily be used to force a move and he is one of our key players. to be honest the way the club deals with it seems to be how much of an asset the said player is to the business, if he's a major one he will be treated lightly if he's a minor one they will make an example not fair but the way it seems to work at Liverpool... It's the same at every club, look at Cantona, if a B team player like Mike Duxbury would have attacked a fan like that, he would have been sacked immediately, not have Fergy pleading leniency at the FA, we did similar with Suarez It's all about the value of the player to the club, Firmino has a high value, he is a first team player and improved since being at Liverpool (I didn't see much of him before we bought him) with his best years ahead of him, so we will need to be seen to sanction him but make it acceptable to the player/agent.

Meanwhile, Kloopy lad is saying absolutely nowt about Firmi's 'indiscretion' It's innocent till proven guilty, I'm sure he has been spoken to behind the scenes, but this should not be made public.
