The pull of London is not as big as you make out.
The top 3 footballers in the world Messi, Suarez and Ronaldo have never played in London. And of the 3, 2 were attracted to play in the north with us and Man Utd. I struggle to understand what the attraction is too Wizzo. Hate the place with a passion.

Spurs are twice the club we are and will only get better with their new stadium and the pull of London. I don't think we have a chance to catch them let alone the big clubs We know you are being fictitious but unfortunately there is some truth in what you are saying the long term is a concern but I have give up worrying about it

Ninety percent of what we worry about never happens.
Why not live in the now and enjoy this season. We are playing some great football, sit in second place and we can look forward to weekends again.
Who knows what the future brings, we could be bought out by the Chinese and suddenly become the new Chelsea or City. But frankly, right now, in this moment it is pointless worrying about it.
We just beat Everton and we have also beaten Chelsea and Arsenal away. We are unplayable at st times going forward and ther are plenty of smiling faces around the club and among the fans including myself.
By all means continue being a misery guts if that's your thing but you are missing an absolute treat.

Well they have London, a new stadium coming, NFL money etc. etc. We don't stand a chance in the next 10 years against their impending might and we'll just fall further behind what with our lean to and all. May as well just give up as the league is a dead competition for us mid table teams.

yes think you make some very good points there, just think with football you do need to take into consideration tomorrow as in what the future looks like or has in store and at the moment it looks pretty bleak when there's the threat of Spurs replacing you as the 5th best Club in the country...

The beauty of football is that it is all about opinions on and off the pitch. Some see a glass half empty, other see a glass half full. I'm just happy that there's something in the glass. I fully intend to enjoy the ride this season and what will be will be in the future.
