As far as the Chuckle brothers go - they are just like all ex-England player pundits these days. They've bought their own hype and forget they are part of a failed generation. The Nevilles had decent club careers but did very little on the world stage or in management. Phil is possibly the worst 50 cap player of any nation. I get tired of these Billy Big [oops] now thinking they are fountains of knowledge. Glad Klopp pointed that out.

Forget about the Nevilles they will never have a good word to say about the club. The ex player who is winding me up the most is Carragher and his vitriol towards our players.

You will never get a real legend King Kenny, Rushie, Fowler, even Gerrard coming out with half the rubbish he does on sly TV.

Personally I think Klopp has done exactly the right thing in response to criticism, you have to back your player against the media.

However I'd still take him out of the firing line for a few weeks and maybe introduce him in the cup games that come in January.

carragher is paid very well to give an honest assessment of what he sees and I think he's calling it spot on, you go in any pub after the game and customers will be saying exactly the same things carragher is. Don't people understand you are not helping the franchise by showing sentiment, making excuses and basically brushing incompetence and failure under the carpet, this is what the business did 25 years ago and look at us now...

Spangles... what do you do if Migs comes in and drops a clanger? do you then drop him and bring Karius back? Chop and change every week?

It's a fact that we don't have good keepers but we are working under constratints. Sometimes you have to give a keeper a run of games even if he is going through a bad patch. It's a necessary risk. If we go backto Migs now we are in effect saying that we've jusdged Karius on a few games.

yes I know Migs is a terrible keeper but at the moment he is slightly better than this German keeper we have in now, imagine what will happen if he makes another mistake next game or even worse in the Derby, you think he's getting a bit of stick now it will be nothing compared to it if he makes a mistake against the toffs and Kloppsy will be slaughtered too for keeping him in. I despair how Liverpool have found themselves in this situation where every goalkeeper they have is exactly the same as one another...

If Migs is only slightly better... then it may be that Klopp has judged that after getting some premiership experience under his belt Karius has the potential to be much better than Migs. He may therefore be willing to pay a price in the short term. So surely we have to back the manager? Esp when faced with the manner in which the Mitchell brothers and idiot Carra have acted?

do you think the mistakes this goalkeeper is making are experience problems that will improve in time or just basic goalkeeping incompetence which is an entirely different thing altogether. If you said to me the mistakes were down to him getting barged by centre forwards or trying to catch it under pressure or even lack of communication with his defenders I would say yeah give him time to adjust but these are bog standard basic run of the mill standard goalkeeping faults that goalkeepers face in any league., shot stopping.
Just one more thing to all the people saying give him time why wasn't this applied when Bogdan was given his chance earlier last season, he was slaughtered and people wanted him dropped and he was only young and stepping up from a lower league team....

Adam Bogdan is 29 years old, hardly young!

And had (some) premier league experience. He came from a lower league team too.

Karius is younger, is in a new league and wasn't he voted or was the second best keeper in Germany?

He needs time and if he doesn't cut it, he'll suffer the same fate as flappy.
