Reina is far superior to both. What a shocking decision that was to,get rid. We couldn't get a good goalkeeper for 15 years, then we got pep and feckin sold him, giving ourselves a headache. Madness

The whole clubs theory under the current establishment at board level doesnt allow for overspending on certain players when its most needed. As much as i want him as well i dont think we have a chance.

Maybe not, but Italian clubs aren't exactly the most wealthy at the moment.

However I don't understand why I've been compared to another poster who suggests hundreds of players we need to sign every week.

Anyway, I don't know what will happen with Joe Hart at the end of this season, could he be an option for us?

Joe hart is a good keeper. But when he makes mistakes it ends up costing his team points. Some keepers get away with it but hes just unfortunate when it happens to him his team ends up losing or drawing because of it.

I really wanted Ter Stegen in the summer given his circumstances before Bravo was sold to city. GK position is very underrated and i think 20 million for a solid GK is well worth the money if hes gonna save you 15+ points a season. We missed the boat with that one and i dont know who we could get to play no1 until Karius has more time to develop.

Ter Stegen is having a very shaky season with Barcelona, I'm not convinced by him at all.

And whenever a goalkeeper makes a mistake it will usually end up in a goal conceded, that's why the position is always under such intense scrutiny.

Mignolet should never have been bought in the first place just like the dozen players bought by Brendan.

People would be saying 'bring back Karius' within 3 or 4 weeks if he was dropped in favour of Mignolet. Neither appear to be what we need. At least with Karius, we can safely say he is still 'adjusting' for the time being. Mignolet still makes regular unforced errors even after playing in the EPL for 6 or 7 years.

Nah - we got the best out of Reina and he'd been going downhill for a few seasons by the time he was replaced. Reina at his peak was far superior to Mignolet, but his peak was a distant memory by the time SM arrived.

Well he's been in management longer than you so I trust his judgement. And in saying Karius isn't good enough, we only have the equally bad Flappy to come in unless we give Manninger a go?

Mignolet is not the solution.

Remember when people use to have patience with players, not anymore. If a players makes a mistake now he is toast.

There was no thread demanding Mignolet's return during our recent unbeaten run.
