So why didn't Harford carry it on then if it was only the money?

I don't think the players Hartford brought in were the same calibre or cost as much as the players Dalglish brought in, could be wrong though. I always thought the appointment of Dalglish was a bit iffy myself...

But why Harford did so bad with more or less that league winning team and who prevented him from bringing better players?

I think Jack Walker thought that Dalglish brought in enough younger players in to continue making Blackburn competitive and as we all know from experience Dalglish doesn't have a good track record of bringing through youth or younger players...

So over 2 seasons Dalglish was supposed to win the league and also bring in young players for his successor? The answer is rather he was 10 times better than Harford who did very poorly with a league winning team. Who brought in Flanagan, Kelly and Sterling in the first team more recently by the way? It is the same arguement that says it was because of Alex Ferguson that Moyes couldn't do well. Some opinions are really stupid.

have to ask why Dalglish stepped down after winning the league with Blackburn, might have something to do with Harford, by the way Hartford was always a number 2 for me not manager type bit like Brian Kidd and Colin Harvey...

Why do you call peoples opinions stupid, is it beyond your intelligence just to respond to a post without being disrespectful too...
