So how bad was Rodgers ?

Why have you asked 'how bad'?

Brendan was a top manager and was very successful for a lot of his time here, in particular that amazing 2013/14 season.

In his final full season when results weren't as good (although we did get to two semi-finals and our league points counts was still respectable), I felt he was unlucky as he didn't have the team to use his style of play. Also when your British and not a fashionable name and haven't got the glittering CV, most fans aren't going the manager much time.

But no doubt one of the best managers we have had in recent times.

He inherited a truly world class player in Suarez and had some very good attacking players in Sturridge/Sterling/Coutinho/Gerrard, so he was lucky to have these players. The team was exciting to watch but only had 1 real way of trying to win/playing and that was all out attack, the top managers can adjust their teams and tactics to suit the game/opponent, like what Mourinho's Chelsea did to us.

He also spoke a load of Bo**ocks which got very annoying towards the end.

He had his faults and it was time for him to go, but that year he gave us some great entertainment, it was truly Outstanding smile

He didn't inherit a world-class player in Suarez, he nurtured Suarez into a world-class player. That Chelsea game was unfortunate because we gifted them a first goal from nothing.

You surely not seeing that as something to be proud of? In your own words Klopp getting to 2 finals. (Euro on at that) was nothing special and luck played a huge part.

No just saying he got to two semi-finals as people like to make how bad that last season. Klopp did get to two finals, struggled a bit in the league, but with a fresh ideas we were all hoping/expecting some improvement when Klopp came in and hopefully it will continue.

Me! It's amazing how we go on so much about a failed manager. At least Stan was sensible about his op unlike you know who.

How was he successful? What did he/we win?

And if he didn't have a team he wanted why did he buy the players he did? Can't blame it all on the committee.

A top manager has trophies against his name - Brendan has none. How can you consider his time here a success when we didn't win anything? You're just one of those people who doesn't have an opinion, you'll just pick up when people are overly negative of someone and go against the grain, like you're playing devils advocate. If we all suddenly started slating Klopp you'd probably pop your blow up doll of Brendan and buy a Klopp one to get off to.
