Domination means nothing if we don't get 3 points which we did. We suffered for it with Burnley and Arsenal almost did with Boro if not for Cech.

Keep it going Liverpool!

Sluggish start but regained our composure once we found the net and it was smooth sailing until the 80th minute. We should have finished it off early but made it harder on ourselves towards the end. Mane, Firmino, Coutinho all involved in the goals again. Happy.

Manure didn't had a chance against us because they were all defending and we didn't go gung ho leaving spaces for them to counter attack. We didn't win against them not because they didn't score but because we didn't.

I don't think we missed an opportunity against United, we didn't fall into Mourinho's trap

Really good performance against WBA, everything we did was good except the usual problem of defending set pieces! It will cost us before the season is out I'm sure!

We are so much better with Firmino up top as oppose to Sturridge.

Hopefully we can knock Spurs out of the League Cup on Tuesday then Crystal Palace away next Saturday!

I think (and hope) spurs won't be playing a strong side either, the win over derby was nice but it should of been about win percent. people seem to care about the league cup as much as the fa cup it's shocking, not having a go at you chris talking generally. second string side should involve players like lucas, gruijic, ejaria, ojo, woodburn, origi, moreno, gomez, ragnar.

the further you go in these competitions we'll obviously end up playing first team players, we want to be giving maximum every league match and improving each week if we can, we're not going to do that if we have to deal with a championship side in a league cup quarter final, it may not be that bad and improve players form some weeks if we have a week in between fixtures however the matches eventually come thick and fast. but there's no way we can deal with 3 competitions all at once.

everyone knows about these reoccurring seasonal moans about priorities

With no European football I'd like to see us win one of the cup competitions. Personally I think we should be playing a strong side to ensure we get through to the next round.

Also we played a pretty much full strength side away Burton, then a relatively strong side at Derby. So to continue that trend surely it will be a strong side tomorrow?
