where's my cigar?

It's obviously a tweet, if it were true we'd be able to find something on it by now.

"China Everbright Ltd, part of the state-owned China Everbright Group, is not in talks to buy a stake in British football team Liverpool FC, Chief Executive Chen Shuang said on Wednesday.
Chen said that, after media reports of Everbright's interest in the football club, he called several executives at different units of Everbright that might be involved in outbound mergers and acquisitions and found no one was working on any such deal. From what he knew, there was never any such deal at Everbright, he said at a news breifing"

No cigar, we still think you're stupid.

Wijnaldum, Mane both on £90k a week. The only player we've sold on more than that was Benteke. Think again boy.

But now reports that The chief executive of the Chinese company linked with buying a stake in Liverpool has denied they are in talks with owners Fenway Sports Group.

No smoke without fire...The Times which is one of the better rags was reporting about it last week that Amanada Staveley of PCP Partners who helped the Arabs buy City, was being reported to be the chief negotiator in the process!

More like Chinese have offered 800m and FSG are still holding out for their golden 1 billion, hence the current fire sale and ramping up of loans out the club.
Good to hear Sakho turned up to Melwood today for training after they tried to bully him and he is now putting his middle finger up to the greedy baskets FSG...well done LAD keep it up!!!

Just a matter of the 1 billion figure being reached.

tbh I can't see anyone paying that much.

I doubt FSG will be too bother even if that bid does not happen.

If they make 200million in TV money each season then why sell

Yep. Because you know best. That definitely happened. Putting people out on loan makes the club look more attractive obviously. I bet if people put a bid in for the club they wouldn't think to check things like that. They are probably surprised when the players come back. No one really researches these things anyway. Billion pound deals are done on a whim in a day aren't they?

And well done Sahko. Yeah. Well done. Doesn't matter that you took a banned substance. Or got sent home from the U.S. Or missed a training session for no reason. Or turned up late for a meeting. You showed them. Your snapchats and Instagram posts are good it looks like you care a bit so I'm glad You stayed. Despite your lack of professionalism you managed to avoid Stoke! You're the best mamadou!
