I can't get enthusiastic about the season because we've been here many times before. We're going to be overly reliant on the likes of Coutinho and Mane to dig us out of deep holes. Mane looks like he's going to suffer at the hands of over zealous Refs. Coutinho is an in and out performer, capable of brilliance but just as easily goes missing.
We'll be lucky to make Europa League unless we get in a couple of quality players, preferably a LB and DM if he's not going to give Lucas a decent run in his specilaized position.

I suppose looking at the fixture list, a point at WHL is considered a decent outcome. However on the basis of what they had missing and what we had out on the pitch, it's food for thought considering they'll be fighting for 4th, 5th or 6th place!
The next 4 days shapes our season, as far as I'm concerned, he has to bring in some quality otherwise we'll be left ruing what might have been, again.

Who exactly was missing for them other than Lloris? That was near enough full strength for them, while we were missing Can and Karius, so don't think that argument can be used

Matip was very good today, I was impressed and we looked a lot more solid although we still can't keep clean sheets in the Premiership which is seriously frustrating!
