Klavan was never to be 1st choice.
The 1st choice central defenders were
Sahko - until he upset Klopp
Lovren and Matip

Are we wrong to question Klopp...well NO tbh that performance against Burnley wasn't good enough. There was a dejavu about it that we've been here before...many, many, many times before...26 years in fact! Until he wins something with us, us as fans have reason to question his judgement at times like these. As a fan/s we want to know what the expectations are for the season ahead...nobody has at the club, like you really should do, given where they expect the team to be! We are clearly being short changed about acquisitions, whilst those that we are aspiring to be, add proven quality to their ranks. Even those much lower in the league are bolstering their ranks with better quality...better quality than we have! Frowning upon the market is not going to get us anywhere AGAIN! If we want to be with the big boys, we MUST pay the going rate for a quality team to compete with the big boys. The market is reflective of the extra injection of cash from the premier league and tv, moaning about it on behalf of our frugal owners is going to get you in the same position as your predecessor! We have 9 days left to bring in the much needed quality or we may as well wave the white flag!

If we don't sign any top class players in the next 10 days then we may as well give up on this season.

Believe u me, one thing, klopp will be more stubborn than any of our previous managers, he lives and dies by this philosophy, so let's just all hope it works out, as it will not change, I did say before, he is an fsg dream. (Not counting that against him)
And just looking at how arsenal have struggled to bring in any defensive reinforcements doesn't really give us any hope realistically.

If we don't sign any top class players in the next 10 days then we may as well give up on this season. Considering the January transfer window is usually a non event for us this will be it until next season. Suppose now the next gauge will be after 10 games to see what shape we are in.

Same old buffoons chiming in their repetitive inanity....
This is Jurgen Klopp's first full season and only the second game. In his first season he somehow took Brendan Rogers's uneven team to a European final and a domestic final. It took a while for him to transform Dortmund - but he got them firing with no-name transfers and a lot of work on the training pitch. He tried to make that point today - but the likes of GNP have already decided he's no better than Brendan Rogers
Then we have a few other bright sparks who have written off Klaven after 2 games, Matip after NO games, and Wijnaldum after 2 games. It's a good job they're not scouts because many a great prem player (Cantona and Henry for just two) started out slowly in this league. Then when you say to these 'fans' - "OK, let's say we'll dump these players, who should we sign in their place?" You get an unrealistic list of fantasy names spoken in earnest with straight faces. WTF!!!! Will the people with reason and rationale please come forward on this board... so we don't have to keep reading the same drivel?
No one enjoyed losing to Burnley - but the panic and lack of any real perspective is just embarrassing! yes but I think people have a right to question wijnaldum in central midfield, like I said he's more of a project imo. emre would normally play on that left hand side, or if we compare our midfield 3 to our midfield 3 that started against man city and leicester away last season, can lucas milner, wijnaldum henderson lallana. who knows we might bring in medel and parades, I'm just waiting to see what happens.

Dont you dare raise a question about Wijnaldum playing in the midfield. Its not allowed according to some. You should sit down shut up and not say anything even if we lose to teams like Burnley because thats the way they want it. This is all KP's feeble philosophy on Liverpool football club and hes 100% right not matter what and even if we lose to the team who will be relegated and more than likely get less than 6 wins at the end of the season.
