Thank you for the link... the video just got funnier and funnier! One thing is for certain - he is remarkably witty and intelligent. I might be gullible, but that's changed my perception of him! :-)

He comes from poor conditions. Grew up in Malmö in southern Sweden - in a small suburb called RosengÄrd (Rose Farm). Many immigrants lived (and still live) there.

He has always spoken of the hard times when his family not always even had food on the table.

In recent years he has started to give things back to the area he grew up in - for instance he built a football pitch for the young generation in 2007: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zlatan_Court

He is sometimes a bit over the top imo. Sometimes speaks about himself in 3:rd person (more often when he was younger though), which makes him sound arrogant. But most often it is really tongue in cheek.

Him coming to England will be good for EPL. Just hope it doesn't end up being too good for Manure though!

Thanks for that link as well - am realising I have been too prejudiced by unbalanced media stuff. Don't wanna become an actual fan of the guy whilst he plays for Manure, but might be after he retires :-)

He was still the best player in the French league last season, so I think he still has to offer even at 34, unfortunately

I think they're scraping the bottom of the barrel there, they're not in the CL and finding it hard to attract the very top talent, so they settle on Ibrahimovic, probably the best they can get despite being past his prime. Unless they can do better I d expect them to struggle.

He did have a very good last season, I fear he still have a lot too offer

I agree, they are making some good signings, Mkhitaryan is really suited to them and the league, Ibra is a quality player and can offer something different, I prefer to see Felaini upfront for them than Ibra !!!! Mourinho can become a loose cannon, but usually has a few good years in him first.

The competition for the league/top 4 this year will be intense.
