Theres about 25+ players in leagues across Europe, i can hardly sit here and go through them all. Ive mentioned about 7/8 already without even thinking.

The thing annoys me more is that we didnt even try to sign anyone bigger than Mane.

Miktaryan, morratta, Isco, Reus, Lucas moura, lacazette, Higuain, Pjanic, kovacic, Sane, Gotze and pastore,,,, ill even add in Gundogan was bought by city for 20 million,,, 10 million less than midtable Mane. Thats just a few going through the leagues off the top of my head.

Klopp wants a winger and none of the players I see you mentioned are a winger. And the players I see that you have mentioned will be signing for man city, utd, madrid etc. So you can scratch those off your list straight away

Pastore, isco, reus (at times) sane gotze and pastore have all played on the wing. We never even attempted to sign any of them. Even that redmond for 10 million was worth more of a go then Mane.

So we have not tried to sign Gotze then?

Obviously not enough effort was put in, im sure there was probably an inquiry but why stop at just gotze? why not ask about the rest.

Who knows if Liverpool have asked/approached about the rest? we are not going to publish when we approach a player/agent/club and get turned down, as we look silly and makes the club look weak as the player is not interested in joining. Gotze was probably the one we had most chance at, as Klopp has a history with him and Bayern have basically said he has no future with them, so I think that's why Liverpool have made it very clear they want him and hoped he would consider dropping out the CL to help us get back in it, I am guessing the players agent must have given us a signal that Gotze would consider the move.

I am sure most of the players you mentioned will want CL football, we cannot offer that and cannot promise it next year. I am guessing when a transfer happens the first move is to contact the players agent to se if the player would be interested in the move to Liverpool, if he says yes, we will then put an offer in/talk to his club, that's generally when it will become knowledge to the press, that also serves to destabilise the player abit with his current club and shows the clubs intent that they want him.

Players first want to know how much money is being offered per week in wages

Most top players want both, if no CL some are available to be bribed on extortionate wages like UTD did with Di Maria !!!! but we will never pay the bribe wages (rightly so) to lure a World Class player like that.
