But that is the thing wik, i dont think its a klopp signing. I go back to LB position and we were in for 2 really good players guerriro and hector. We couldnt get them and im glad we didnt overspend, but then we take a massive drop down to a player Ben chilwell who has no 1st team experience because hes never played in the PL. That didnt work out so then we look at championship player Robertson from Hull. Its the constant drop down in player quality that worries me.
Klopp is a fantastic manager but hes not a miracle worker. If i was betting on it, id say FSG transfer committee wont sign Klopps 1st choice targets, they'll go for alternatives.
I think you would agree with me on these things...
- Liverpool dont have money to burn in terms of transfers and constantly buying big
- Mane is a massive risk player for that price, it didnt work for Benteke or Lallana or even Carroll.
Id would rather try and sign someone established, if it doesnt work for whatever reason at least at the end of the day we can turn around and say we bought a player who was already world class when we bought him it didnt work out but the desire to sign someone big was there. An example is Utd signing Di maria and falcao. They were both a disaster at Utd but they were huge world class players. But we cannot afford a Di Maria or a Falcao, so what do you mean?

We couldve afforded 20 million for Gundogan (world class player) but instead we are signing Mane who is a decent player nowhere near world class.
I would rather sign 1 world class player rather than 1 sadio Mane 1 adam lallana and 1 benteke ...Thats 80 million right there. We are bound to sign someone whos only decent as well as Mane and probably for minimum of 20 million.
Mane 30 million + 20 million squad player we are bound to sign = 50 million. Id rather spend 50 million and try sign moratta or someone on that level.

Moratta is being linked with Real Madrid and you think we can get him to even listen to us? Same goes will all those at that level. We tried Costa, Mikhtarian, Sanchez who were probably not even there, but one stayed at A.Madrid then went to Chelsea, the other to Dortmund and Sanchez to Arsenal, so it is not only about money we pay but if we can offer them CL etc that they have options elsewhere. If you want to be pleased by only being linked to big names, ok, but we are not attractive enough and we would be losing our time. I would prefer we attract the next Greizman and Veratti, Kante, Mahrez etc

Main reason certain quality players won't join Lfc is Cuzz of Henry low wage structure at the club Henry signs players based on the info from Gordon PC regarding what each player earns per week Henry , Gordon shud b scouting , signing players based on their fvcking footballing ability 1st, not abt keeping a low net spend , increasing the clubs resale value etc

should I interject and give my opinion, should I not, who knows
I can't resist saying anything about benteke though, scoring goals (half conversion rate goals to games) for a smaller club is no more impressing than scoring goals for a mid table one. you only have to look at the types of goals a striker scores resembles a lot about their game

We're not going to sign anyone world class. Mane is a good player and one more good season at Southampton and we might not be able to sign him because there may be too much competition for him. He looks like he would really suit us this would be an excellent signing in my opinion.
