I think he's been due to sign this week for about 6 weeks now.


And no. He doesn't excite me at all.

i would seriously consider putting 100 euro on zielinski to sign for spurs. Thats no joke btw. It usually takes us a 6 month cycle before we sign a player.

Would that be a good or bad thing? By all accounts people don't think it's a very exciting transfer so good luck to them.

look he's one for the future, klopp rang him to tell him he'd play an important role over the coming seasons. italian giants napoli were interested, so unless we have saved napoli from signing a dud, we have to have some hope.

of course he's not the most exciting signing, but it's what klopp will hopefully do with him and the team is what should be exciting. if this is how klopp wants to go about building his side, (a little bit like dortmund signing relatively unknowns) starting really with a polish 22 year old midfielder who is good with the ball at his feet, then we should try not to be so downbeat. even if I have raised doubts before of him only being a slightly better version of henderson if at all at first glance.
I'm personally glad we've signed him (it goes through), no I don't think he's good enough -yet, he really needs to kick on when he comes to anfield, as we only expect world class in our midfield or we should do, but I like klopp bringing his mantra through to liverpool, whether that be because we can't do anything else ie sign big names players quite possibly.

I'm a little confused by the way rumors have been going this summer.How much exactly is the echo influenced by the club? I find it hard to believe all the interest in players they simply rubbish straight away. For example Kovacic (I understand italian journos are very unreliable) but i refuse to believe we have no interest in the player whatsoever, same with higuain, Hector etc. The way i see it can only be a way of covering our backs when we inevitably get turned down by the big profile players.

cant see us being interested in higuain tbh the money they want for him and his age would suggest not a fsg signing

True he doesn't really fit the model FSG have followed for transfers but i think there is some interest there. Basically what im trying to get at is, do the echo know exactly who LFC are targeting this summer? and if so why are they not reporting it themselves. It confuses me how numerous outlets can report we have interest in a player (especially when sky sports are reporting, usually quite reliable) and then the echo comes out almost straight away and says "No interest whatsoever" and they can confirm "not on Klopps list of summer targets". Have they seen this "List of targets" with their own eyes? it just makes me laugh how they can be so certain to say a player isn't coming to the club but can in no way confirm who are actual targets are. Seems a little fishy to me, almost as if they don't want us to be publicly courting players anymore in my opinion!
