Lallana was delightful. Sturridge with a moment of magic. From a Liverpool point of view it was good. Milner and Clyne seem better than what we've got on the pitch as well. Lallana ran around and worked hard as usual but that was it, not sure how that constitutes a delightful performance. He oozed class, great technician. Could be an important player for us next season. He oozed what he always oozes and it's not class. Also he's no technician either, he's a mid to lower table player and he'd have been sub'd off today at half time, if it hadn't been for the need to take £Sterling and Kane off because they were even worse. Rooney should have been subbed as well, after a dismal display from him. England need to step it up considerably if they're to progress beyond the next round.

RS's theorem: He was signed by Brendan - hence he has to be class. Recently for Livepool and with England in the Euros he has performing really well. So elegant on the ball. He looks a top player right now. Your comment raises an important point. Because he was a Brendan signing fans do alter their opinion of him even if it is subconscious.

Absolute rubbish, I suggest you watch him live week in week out to see how little he actually contributes apart from running around and Cruyff turns that lead to nothing!

Your partner must absolutely love you if your that easy to please. If Lallana delights you then you must have had kittens when watching Suarez, Gerrard in his prime, Alonso, Mascherano and so on.
