That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

Sturidge and Kane for me. Milner has to start too as Sterling is off form. I think England are too good for Wales so I'll stick my neck out for a 3-1 win. Kane double and Lallana.

The stat about Hodgson's record I mentioned in the original post is not true because I forgot to account for Euro 2012 but nevertheless Hodgson has got a lot of improving to do.

Every country will have some unpleasant fans and yes England fans have caused more trouble than most in the past but don't stereotype everyone.

Roy is very stubborn so I see a very similar team to the one that started against Russia. My biggest fears are Sterling and Kane. Sterling has absolutely no end product whatsoever and it was glaring against Russia. I like Kane but I'm starting to wonder if he is international quality. He seemed very slow and laboured against Russia - almost tired. I think we may need Vardy's speed or Sturridge's nous. Sturridge is England's best striker but the problem has been that he hasn't been available because of his fitness. Now he is fit he's not even getting picked.

Slovakia can do what England can't and beat Russia. It looks now like it will go to last group game for England whatever the result against Wales. But if we are serious about winning the Euros we need to start winning. 0 wins in 4 tournament games under Hodgson, 2 losses.
My team versus Wales:
-----------------Hart
--Walker---Cahill-----Smalling-----Rose
------------------Dier
--------Milner------------Alli
-----------------Lallana
-----------Rooney--------Sturridge
Not sure about the shape but I would like to see Sturridge and Milner in the side. Walker played well so unlikely Clyne will play.
So you'd leave out the two top scoring English strikers? Kane and Vardy have to start, and they have every right to start considering their club form. There is no way Lallana should be starting either. Sturridge is England's best striker. Successful national team pick players based on how well they suit the manager's tactics and they're ability, surely? There's too much emphasis on the player's form when Hodgson picks his teams.
