I feel as tho Belgium are similar to ourselves. Good side. World class players here and there. But just garbage at international football. Who are according to you world class players in the England team?

Only team in the tournament to use a back 3 system aren't they? It can get better for Italy (or worse ofc), pundits saying they always had an option but I felt like that option was to go long a lot of the time, if they can just make a few more passes, and make a few of the passes out wide stick, as they don't have much territory compared to beligum they can create more chances and get at teams. Could have been 2-0 with pelle before they saw out the match and finished it off with a counter attack with pelle, most of the time they did well against the belgium attack, but lukaku could have got in twice, and one of them he'd of expected to put away if it were not for buffon charging out and making himself big. back 3 switched off a bit with crosses during the last 10 minutes, origi could have punished them.
If they go on to win the tournament with a back 3 system they will have made up for the lack of some quality in their team, as people have said this is not the greatest italian side in recent years, but a great coach and great spirit. Other teams are in the same boat as england in the respect, they don't have a completely refined system, we can believe that italy have got that, but imo, they haven't, they can play better and will possibly need to, great performance though and good match to watch. One of their strikers is from Sunderland and one had an average season at Southampton...believe it or not

Italy are doing what italy do.. just minus the balotelli toxin -so yeah prob make the final or top 4 at least. Well I hope they don't ring changes either EMP, I also worry to see Italy putting things together under Conte, I think Ireland will do well to come out of this group, we blew a great chance when we had Sweden on the ropes yesterday, I feel it's uphill now against two very strong sides, but as always if we go down we go down fighting that's for sure.

Yeah I am pessimistic myself, defo shoulda beat the swedes. Gonna be hot playing these Belgians I can see a narrow brave defeat -actually prob a narrow brave defeat in both games.

Who are you actually talking to 'ere '60's, 'cus it seems you are talking to yourself. I seem to have lost the thread on this thread somehow.  All been kicking off in Lille again I see. Disqualify both countries now and stop this pussyfooting around. ALL inguuulund fans should be banned from the WC in 2 years time too, or that's going to turn into WW3

Disqualify both countries now and stop this pussyfooting around. ALL inguuulund fans should be banned from the WC in 2 years time too, or that's going to turn into WW3 Vish knows who im talking to growls sick of his anti English comments and not just on football re fans Russia has said around 200 hooligans went the England game to start trouble which they suceeded in! dont know re the streets but england always gets the blame and sometime it aint us but one thing is for sure it dont look good for the next world cup in Russia does it ? England fans always get blamed because we are always involved. The only two nations getting in trouble in this tournament seem to be England and Russia, I'm with Growler, kick both teams out and take the World Cup hosting off Russia as well. Extreme measures are the only way to stop this sort of thing.

but to say they were both involved so both guilty is like saying the nazi's and jews were both involved so there both guilty that judgement isnt always accurate just saying I'm not going to get involved in anything to do with comparing football violence to what happened to the Jewish race, they are completely incomparable and shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.
