I think the word Minority could be key here, I'm English I have English all around me and not one of them as fans think we are superior to other fans or to the other football teams, maybe people get us mixed up with the silly excuses for drunken men abroad.
I would be hard pushed to find anyone who thinks/says England are great in the football world, it's a game so not that we wouldn't want to win of course.
As for the EU debate, anyone even suggesting English people that want out is because we think we are somehow better than the rest is just plain wrong, offensive, ignorant at best, we have our own free spirits to think what we want.
Some of us that live here are trying to make a decision on what's best for us and our children's future not on how people choose to judge us for being English. Sure Lain, to me free spirit backed by emotions only (this is how I see leavers as anything projection put on the table is called scaremongering) is either stupid or arrogance. Except that there will be less or no immigrants, I see no long term plan proposed by the leavers. All economist reports I have read says that the economy will be worse off, all party leaders except UKIP think that staying is better, therefore it's mainly if not all about immigration. In anycase this is not my problem but struggle to understand how such a big proportion of English is so far right wing. I would hate a country where the majority is far right, sorry.

Its a big dilemma for some, what I'm hearing is everyday worries and gripes being brought up by people struggling with various problems that should be dealt with by whatever government is in power, people coming into the country putting a strain on things is only part of it.
This vote could be a spiteful payback against this governments failings. rightly or wrongly poorer/low paid workers have had enough.

The Ruskies were very poor and Engerland should have buried them.
But gee their lineup, formation and coaching is really poor thanks to Roy Hodgson.
And what about the English commentators?
Every routine tackle and every simple pass by an englishman was "brilliant" and "fantastic" and attacks were at "lightning pace".
I wish England would play some decent football as I really cant enjoy the primitive predictable fare they dish up. I guess the players are not that good? would you be saying that about france if they hadn't got the late winner against romania? But France got it, that is the difference hows Mauritius doing in football vish Mauritian football is at non professional and our population is 1.4m, so just doing ok at our level. Why? We are not at the Euros if this is what you wanted to know.

A draw is not a disaster, bit of a farce what happened considering england dominated from start to finish. I bet milner is beating himself up about it, please do milner, I'm fed up of seeing players run past you much like the europa league final for sevilla's* second goal and now this. This is very possibly one of the traits we need in our holding midfielder someone who is agile, I think wanyama is quite agile, not saying he's the perfect choice though. Not a disaster yes, but not a surprise neither except maybe to those England fans who always think they are the best in the world despite being average at best. I suppose it is this same attitude that want England out of EU, ie, the English think that they are the best in the world and can always do better than others. I was wondering why every European country wannts to be or stay in Europe except England, not even Scotland and Ireland, quite weird actually. take hike vish go talk on fiji website then ??? If you had taken the time to look into it as opposed to just skimming the media headlines, you'd realise that the "english hooligans" had absolutely nothing to do with it.
The English fans were attacked by the Marseille Ultras - completely un-announced and unprevoked. England has a following of thugs like any other country, but don't ignorantly judge any conflict blindly or sharing an opinion without actually looking into it.
Absolutely ridiculous.
I know my facts and my opinion stands, just because you don't agree doesn't mean I'm ignorant or don't know the subject. Burying your head in the sand doesn't make this subject go away, every tournament involving England ends up with our 'fans' causing trouble, chanting obscenities and smashing up the local businesses.
