Tricky winger from Lille. Looks really good. Two footed. Tends to try and do too much but still looks exciting and confident. Plays more like Nani than say hazard or payet. I say those two as they both left Lille recently. They seem to replace like for like.

coutinho's replacement possibly? (if so are we signing both left and right wingers?), said to be linked with many premier league clubs. I'd miss out on him, I'd be interested in other targets, but it's a tempting price, have to see if klopp and his scouts are tempted by all aspects of his game enough to bid.

I can't see FSG going for Payet, at 29 he doesn't fit their recruitment policy, I'd like us to go for Eriksen if we did sell Coutinho, hopefully we won't as he's one of our better players, there are quite a few more midfielders i'd like to sell before Coutinho, but I guess it's who we get bigs for and generates the money.

I mean shame for Sakho as it's abit odd how Sakho is out the Euro's (effectively banned as he hasn't played as he/Liverpool withdrew him from playing, but not banned now by Uefa, but means France would not select him, he would have played I think with Varane injured).

Always good to watch Liverpool players at competitions, as long as they do not get injured !!!! I tend to back the team we have players in.

Lallana is a decent player nothing more. If he adds more goals and assists to his game next season then he will be valuable player to have. His second half of last season is what I would expect for the money we paid for him. Will he kick on next season? no idea. If he does not he is nothing more than a squad filler.

I'm not saying he would make the move, but if we sold Coutinho for £50 million, I would target Eriksen as the replacement. Players can be convinced, after speaking to managers and offered a better pay deal, I don't think Tottenham are the biggest payers in the PL. Generally if a club accepts a bid, its upto the player, the player knows his club accepted the bid, so most of the time they know they are not wanted and best to move on.

Not that I think any of this will happen, I was just saying I like Eriksen and if we got the chance, we should move for him (especially if we sell Coutinho), but I think we missed the boat on that when he moved from Ajax and we could have got him for £10 million, Molby was always on LFC TV saying we should get him and that Eriksen was a Liverpool fan.

Didn't Di Maria leave Real Madrid for Man Utd who weren't in Europe that season? not that I think this would happen with Eriksen, just saying it can happen. I'm sure the money Utd paid him made the move acceptable!!!!

How can you compare us with that situation, Spurs can pay as much as us if not more, have got a top team and are in CL and they want to keep Eriksen while Real Madrid wanted to sell Di Maria.
