Lacazette available for ~£30m apparently, but only before June 30th according to Lyon's chairman!
If we sold Benteke, we'd only need to spend ~10m extra to get Lacazette.
ST this season- Sturridge, Lacazette, Origi, Ings (+ Firmino). PERFECT! I don't have much of a clue about lacazette. He's got decent pace, more so acceleration, good strength, I'm just not sure how he'd adapt to the premier league. Or maybe this just stems from my lack of confidence in the current french market. I have some confidence in thomas lemar though, if we could land him for 10 million or so seems like a no brainer to me, even if we keep him as squad/fringe player, obviously he'll want to play though and improve not just join a club to sit on the bench or pick up a wage. speculation that west ham and spurs might go for lacazette, it's a little bit strange that no club in europe, or particularly arsenal haven't gone for him before? (or have they and not just bid the right amount that lyon were willing to accept at that point in time). as has been said for the hundreth time, klopp prefers to not play with 2 strikers, so I can't see a lacazette sturridge combination. although firmino would slot in nicely behind them if liverpool chose to opt for a 442 with a diamond in midfield (in which case I'd keep allen and moreno), and were able to keep their shape inside their own half and sacrifice territory. I doubt klopp will use this style of football next season though no matter which striker he signs long term for the club. I'm deluding myself, monaco want 58/59 million which is the same figure man utd paid the club last season for martial- and martial's fee could stretch to 61.5m according to sky sports. weird that talksport claimed 'However, the French side are now willing to sell if they receive an offer which matches their valuation of over £10m.', heck of a difference between signing a player for 10m or 58m..now it's much less appealing hey

I have as many hands as I need to back up my own opinions Lain! Or, on the other hand. "Hey hey Hey hey Sometimes I feel like everybody's got a problem Sometimes I feel like nobody wants to solve them I know that people say we're nwver going to make it But I know we're going to get through this Close you're eyes and please dont let me go Don't dont don't don't please don't let me go now Close you're eyes don't let me let you go Don't don't don't" Ooh let me guess Herc, George Michael? It was "Simple Plan"

Early days, but the Transfer scene is not looking good. The rest of the top 8 are all active and we are "speculating" again.
Understatement much? You know the actual transfer window doesn't even open for another week!!!!, which is the same time as the Euros. Doubt we'll see much of anything involving European players until the tournament is over. Top 8 have hardly done anything. Arsenal got Xhaka and City got Gundogan. We've already got Karius, Matip and Grujic, so are actually doing pretty well in business terms compared with the top 8. I know Klopp has been successful in the Bundesliga in signing developing players, but the EPL is a different ball game with at least 10 clubs with financial clout and seriously good managers and decent squads and they are landing seriously top players and they are all capable of doing very well next season. Then trust him!!! I was expecting a fire sale of the dross and lots of serious bidding for monster players. Bit of an oxymoron this one....can't get rid of the dross that easily! We must have tried for years to get rid of Enrique. Hell, even Cissokho got picked ahead of him and we ended up cancelling the rest of his contract. Who is gonna want distinctly below average player on crazy wages? We've got a while summer of football to look forward to, you might as well try and enjoy it rather than worrying about if the Gotzes of the world are gonna sign! Peace & love

I've heard a few rumours about Kieron Gibbs and Gael Clichy.
Neither are great but still better than what we have.

I have wanted that dude since the last world cup...awesome I remember you raving about Herrera some time ago. If he's as good a midfielder as you say then he's just what we need!
