Can we just wait and see what it is he was taking and what the resulting ban is before we have him shot?
If it was some kind of performance enhancing drug then fair enough, but what if it was diet pills? sure, it's still stupid on his part but forgivable imo. If he took banned diet pills to make him lose fat then that would make him every so slightly better though wouldn't it?

dunno all very dodgy if u ask me, read somewhere that the diet pills can be used to mask the appearance of other illegals
so if he is done on diet pills it could just mean he didn't get caught taking steroids or whatever

That's true too I suppose. I just don't see the point in hanging him out to dry when no one actually knows the details yet.
Everyone seems to have forgotten that Kolo was also done for diet pills! did he turn out to be a bad influence on the younger players? quite the opposite I'd say.

I suggest waiting for the facts which I'm sure will be made public after the trial.

I wasn't speculating I was just repeating a medical opinion I read in the guardian I think it was. That Dr seem convinced that it does mask other illegals.Star caps I think they are called

Didn't Chelsea sack and sue Mutu for about £17 million when he failed a drugs test and was banned? I guess we could terminate Sakho's contract as he breached it by making himself unavailable for selection (I am guessing they must have clauses in contracts now for drug use/test failure).
I liked Sakho and thought he was developing a good partnership with Lovren until he failed this test, but if found guilty I would rather not have someone who failed a drug test at LFC, as it just sets a bad example and drags the clubs name through the mud, I had the same thoughts when we signed Toure as he was banned at Man City for a similar offence so we should never have signed him, doesn't look good for LFC.

Last fall, Mr. Jackson and several other National Football League players who said they had taken StarCaps failed a drug test when they tested positive for bumetanide. The drug, which can mask steroid use, is on the list of substances banned by the league.
This is them, a few NFL players done for em.
