I'd like to see mascherano come back. And maybe Andre Ayew.
Masch can play midfield and defence and Ayew can play anywhere really. Mascherano is just the type of player we need, a bit of aggression in central midfield and someone who isn't scared to make a big tackle. Looks like he is off to Juventus though

I hope Klopp gives the owners an ultimatum on bringing in one of his main targets at whatever cost! Seems to me that nothing has changed even since Klopp was appointed, surely Klopp must have said something about the ability to buy players he wants at the club?
It is obvious this set of players are not going to take us to the next level and unless very good, experienced players are recruited we may as well kiss goodbye to any fanciful notion of us gatecrashing the Top 4!
I'm really p*ssed at FSG and starting to get frustrated at Klopp for allowing FSG to walk allover him. Show some balls Jurgen!!! Why the hell are you p!ssed and frustrated? The transfer window isn't even open yet so what were you expecting? Just chill out and see what happens when it opens. P*ssed & frustrated because I've seen this movie with FSG & Ayre many times before, as quick as a sloth in recruitment of players. Window is not officially open but the big hitters are doing their business and now we have another fat b*stard about to seat themselves at the buffet gobbling everything good down, whilst we'll be left with crumbs. Top 4 is an impossibility at this rate!

Bill Murray is a really funny guy, but I am just praying it is not still Groundhog Day. Year after year we sign "new" players and we get excited as if we have a "new" car, but the players are Daewoo's not BMW's.
Buy "German" is the answer to our woes.

would love geis in the mid the player we need we need someone of higher quality as our defensive midfielder although geis isn't bad. as aren't many other options like Illarramendi, we may as well sign a box to box player if we aren't able to get someone who can protect our defence, like some believe wanyama would. same with zielenski he isn't bad and would suit pressing from CM, but it's hard to know what combination of a central midfield pairing klopp wants. I personally believe we should have a creative defensive midfield player for the right of our CM pairing as I've said before. ultimately we need Can to be able to grow and we have more telling contribution in terms of key passes from at least one of our two central mids. I don't think we're making the most of Can's passing and shooting abilities, as I'm sure others would agree. I just wonder if klopp thinks Dahoud, broznovic are the calibre of player he'd like in the centre of the park, do they have enough quality. luckily the options we have in milner and henderson next to Can aren't bad, but this position is going to be the most telling one in our transfer dealings imo, other than goalkeeper.

Yep, sounds like they want more money and trying to start an auction, good news is it's confirmation we are trying to get a left back, my 2 key positions we needed strengthening immediately were goalkeeper and left back, so that's good news.
