It's allot of posturing with Gotze, transfer pay off's etc, I expect he will move on, I doubt it will be for as he will want CL football and big pay.

Ok if he doesn't want to come drop it and move to the next target. I still like the look of Pastore.
OMG I remember Thomas Brolin. Right up there with spit Diouf as one of the worst players to come to the Premier League.

This player, Boufal, looks like he could be just what we need for our RW. Quick, great feet, likes to take his man on, and an eye for goal

Not really been linked with him that i'm aware of but looks like he'd offer something we've been lacking. Whoscored has him down as the 6th best player in France last season.

Liverpool have pulled back from talks for Udinese winger Piotr Zielinski.

After an impressive season on-loan with Empoli, the Pole has emerged as a top target for the Reds.

But MondoUdinese says Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has cooled their interest.

The German is now weighing up alternatives, including Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Mo Dahoud.

Gladbach want €10 million for Dahoud, while Udinese rate Zielinski closer to €15 million.

all the usual smoke and mirrors at the end of the season. I actually rate Zielinkski more than Dahoud as he is more aggressive and quicker on his feet. Dahoud is more Ozil like in his play, good touch of the ball and crafty. if we want to play the high tempo game, Zielinski is the better option.

I'd like to see mascherano come back. And maybe Andre Ayew.

Masch can play midfield and defence and Ayew can play anywhere really.

Yeah if it's not smoke and mirrors, it's because they wanted CL!!! It's wages plain and simple, just watch United sign a few without CL, same as City did previously. It looks likely that Klopp will be chasing his 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice players, and all cheapies at that. It appears little has changed and magic moneyball rules ok!
