That is true. Nothing wrong with that...however, the Tv money would go down, the global popularity of the PL would go down and the positive contribution to the economy would go down as a result.

But for me the EPL needs bringing back to reality a bit anyway. We as a country need to start developing more home grown talent (and I mean proper home grown talent not some Spaniard that's been here long enough to qualify) and is something the FA need to have the balls to implement anyway.

Never a day gos by recently without some politician saying we will be economically worse off if we leave the EU a leaflet dropped through my door this morning. It went straight in the bin politicians don't get it we want democracy they don't they never mention democracy on their poxy leaflets. And as for the economy well the politicians have shown themselves to be less than perfect at predicting that in the past why should they be right now ? Who can forget the apologetic forecasts for the UK if we did not join the euro ? How did they prediction work out. And it is no surprise a Serbian is in favour of Britain being in the EU Serbia is trying to join the EU where they to do so lots of British taxpayers money will flood to Serbia what exactly do we get from this arrangement. As for the complexities of player permits in the premiership I have to confess to not understanding them but who cares ? What lunatic would want more choice over international footballers over democracy in your country ?

Furthermore, I never said I was pro Britain staying in the EU, personally I don't give a rats ass what England decides. I was just stating the facts, the Premier league is so popular on a global level BECAUSE it has such a wide variety of nationalities playing in it. That is a fact that any expert will tell you. Losing that diversity will make it less popular and will hence contribute less to the economy. I never said BREXIT will damage the British economy, just that the Premier Leagues contribution would be smaller. Some other industries might be bigger though, I don't know, I am not an economist or a politician.

How will Britain be exploiting Serbia by giving it our taxpayers money ? And it's not as if we have surplus our health service and other public services are collapsing. There are only two countries Britain and Germany that are net contributors to the EU I can't see Serbia being the third somehow. And yes I do care about my country and its people I admit that

Only, when you handpick the best of the best from around the world and bring them to your league, you will always have a higher concentration of high quality players than when you try and produce them yourself. This is simple maths really. You will simply have a larger pool of players to pick from. And again I can see you haven't been reading other peoples posts, tsk tsk,no one said the quality would drop,although it inevitably would, but that it would lose it's global appeal.

The trouble is we don't just hand pick the best of the best though. We have teams lower down the pecking order buying all kinds of nationalities, not just EU, when they could bring home grown youth talent through. In out out of the EU it's something that the FA need to address.
