... there is top class players in our squad, or players who can definitely develop into that. So which is it? 1. We have Top Class Players in our squad or 2. We don't have Top Class Players in our squad The answer is: We have NO TCP's in the squad at the moment. Fact! And that is why we are struggling to find consistent form, and why we aren't consistently good enough against top class opponents. If we add all the injuries that have occured during the season, it doesn't help that much either - and one drug incident as well. Just how much can go wrong during one season I wonder? it's 1, but we don't have enough of them. look at the way liverpool pretty much built the team around firmino for about 8 or 9 games this season.

still if we go out of the EL to this team then it will be a big fail mark beside klopp...failed cause he set the team up so negative.

for saying we set up negativity we still could have won the match with a bit of luck, so I don't think it's a big fail mark besides klopp at all. in actual fact he's done well to take us further than we've been in the europa league for a number of seasons. As I said, and as was reported earlier, to get what he has, in this third of the season, out of this team with the currently fairly average spine he's put together.
players like Can have potential to be top class players, just need quality bringing out more - our spine needs it's quality bringing out more, even if there's only so much you can do. Can had one of his best games in a liverpool shirt against dortmund, when Milner played terrifically in a central midfield partnership with him. up until the 61st minute when allen replaced him

our spine needs an upgrade because it will help the whole team if it's stronger

Suarez is world class and was when he was playing for us. Who else is on that level in our current squad? None! If we had Suarez back now we would improve instantly, don't you think? That's what I call a TCP! Not Firmino who goes missing more often than not, or Lallana who usually just strolls around the pitch aimlessly. You can't seriously put these two duds next to Suarez and claim they are TCP's too, can You?

I don't believe entirely in the spangles theory of levels, a lot of people thought benteke was a proven premier league striker before he came to us, when he wasn't proven for a top team. status and levels get mixed up. then why ask my honest opinion, or was it rhetorical? no they are not world class, but do tottenham have world class players? can't firmino reach deli ali's level and become a top class player in his own right? harry kane compared to sturridge? I'm sorry, good discussion, but I'm standing by my opinion that we just need more quality to help unearth other existing top class quality I didn't put either firmino or lallana next to suarez, see your definition of a TCP and mine, status, is getting mixed up

four top class players for first team two real class potentials to put competition in to reserves is what we need, the prob is even with a un crocked hendo we needed a tc mf ! now with hendo's heel ongoing and knee which are also usually reoccurring his main attribute is at risk his ability to run hard all game, so we could need two tc mf's if were serious about challenging on all fronts plus a TC striker, keeper, and thats not even looking at improvements in the defensive five ! big task for kloppy this summer but should be interesting He does, not only has he got to find more creative, physical, pacey - Quality players, he's got to find hard working ones. To find a creative DM like fabresgas is a hard enough job in itself with so many teams using the 4231, you'd think those sort of players would be in short supply. fabresgas is only able to make them key passes because of the running ahead of him, and the cohesion chelsea go about their attacks. the more running the better, milner doesn't have that much quality, but because he's able to run more it's likey he'll get himself in positions whereby he can make more of a difference. it's about getting that balance at the very least which will prove a bit of a challenge
