Not who to get rid of but who to keep. We are fcuking awful. Thought even though we beat Utd and Dortmund then again last night. There is not one player I would fight to keep hold of. Said it before but we need a new back five before we can even think of the awful midfield. James Milner? What must Jan molby think watching him.
I bet klopp watches our games thinking these boys are absolutely sh&te.
As for the second leg and the we will beat them at anfield logic, not if Moreno, clyne or mignonet have anything to do with it!

lol awful? villarreal have won their last 8 home games haven't they? 0-0 or 1-1 which it should have been would have been a good result. you don't get a good result against villarreal at their place if you are awful

Erm, where were you with these thoughts when we were winning games in the last few weeks? Villareal are no mugs as their position in La Liga suggests. I agree that there needs to be a massive improvement in the playing staff but we also have some very good players that have been playing very well in recent weeks. A couple of top quality additions and we'll be not too bad.

I've thought this watching all season, although we got the results against Utd and Dortmund it doesn't mean mignonet is a good keeper or Moreno a good defender.
Imagine what klopp will be able to do with a couple of decent defenders?

I agree. For me, we're missing some real top quality players. If we can get one or two of those and upgrade Flappy that'll be a great start.

lovren is a decent defender, kolo was arguably our best player night last - yea ok that might say something, but mignolet didn't do anything wrong last night I don't know entirely know what you mean by imagine what klopp can do if we're entirely referring to the defence, we already know a left back perhaps like Hector from cologne would be more solid than moreno. Moreno had a good game until the final few minutes - stating as fact. I'm more interested in the midfield and the attack, and our style in general.

Our squad has got a lot of good players. If we can get some players that suit Klopp's tactics and have a bit more quality, we should do fine.

New left back, defensive-minded midfielder, wide player, striker. Possibly a new goalkeeper, playmaker, or another wide player, or anyone good that suits Klopp and comes available for cheap.

Fair enough it's about opinions but all of our back four and keeper make too many individual errors.

If we can get some players that suit Klopp's tactics and have a bit more quality, we should do fine. not sure fine will entirely cut it. if by some chance the likes of Can and origi, coutinho or firmino aren't able to contribute a bit more and go on unbeaten runs like we have this final third of the season, with the new (likewise) hard working liverpool, quality, players brought in, then I'll be the first to point out this is a young team.
