Only have to read the comments on Hughes to realize stoke weren't at their best, I mean even the commentators picked up on a fairly slow start from Stoke. Or it could be that Liverpool started and played well and didn't let Stoke get a foothold in the game. How about a bit of both is that not inconceivable? Of course but I prefer to concentrate on the positives in my own team, I like to put victories down to us rather than the opposition. It's easy to say Stoke weren't great but that takes the gloss of a very good win for us. If both Liverpool and Stoke were playing at their best I'd expect us to win relatively comfortably, wouldn't you?

well they did beat us 1-0 in the capital cup, sorry for the late reply I was in the bath With an offside goal, we won the first leg 1-0 at their place and also won 1-0 away on the first game of this season against them as well!

well they did beat us 1-0 in the capital cup, sorry for the late reply I was in the bath With an offside goal, we won the first leg 1-0 at their place and also won 1-0 away on the first game of this season against them as well! first game of the season, game changed with 20 minutes when Can was brought on, stoke dominated territory and the match in general without creating much before that magnificent coutinho strike. The 1-0 first leg away win, should have been more but we didn't take all our chances, still wouldn't call that comfortable despite playing near our best with the available squad. Tbf though we were pretty gassed even getting to half time so I wouldn't say we could have played our 'best' even if we wanted to. Fair enough, liverpool are miles better than stoke, happy? This is twice you've picked me up on wanting to be level headed about things chris :P

Seriously stop taking things so personally, its nothing to do with being level headed, how about given some credit to Liverpool as oppose to well its because the opposition were bad, it was Stoke, not Barcelona!

how did you rate the singing in a 4-1 win at anfield chris just asking cus i know you go away a lot too! because on the tele it was dead I don't go to home games anymore mate, well very rarely! I live a long way from Liverpool now, hence why I focus on the away games. My Dad does all the home ones.
