I'm a huge fan of Klopp and am looking forward to seeing how he builds the team next season. However, I had no the option but to vote for "performing worse than expected". From what I have seen so far, we haven't improved one little bit and that is an area of concern. Whether the players are his choices or not, if he's a better manager than Rodgers then he should be able to get more out of the players then he has done so far. If his coaching ability is roughly on par with Rodgers then we just need him to be a LOT better at spotting suitable players than his predecessor.

I would say worse than expected because I'm always hopeful the next signing, next manager etc... will take us back to the top as Luis almost did.

On reflection it was always a tough task within this season and I think with BR we'd be doing worse still.

I had hope for Klopp because he's proven himself a top top manager, his demeanor seems to fit with Lfc and his transfers at Dortmund prove he can spot a player, and probably won't base his whole policy on Swansea and Southampton players. Foreign managers like Klopp probably are preferred since he'll attract a better class of player and arguably better contacts/knowledge of foreign leagues.

BR's tranfers just seemed to get desperate by the end, especially Benteke. Sqaure pegs and all that.

3 transfer windows is right for me too. I won't count Jan as he didn't spend anything, so the 17/18 season is when we should be truly judging.

Despite bringing out a lot more in a fair few of the players, 'we haven't improved one little bit' lollollollollollollol

no, as a team we haven't really improved That much despite getting the team passing and running more in a league which has got more competitive than the first 10 games we witnessed which rodgers failed to take advantage of.

It's a results business...not a 'running about a lot' business. His first 38 games have returned an inferior wins:game ratio than Rodgers last 38 games. If you want to call that 'improvement' then there is very little else I can say.

But before you bracket me as a Rodgers fan, let me clarify...: I believe that Klopp is the right man for the job and I am really pleased we have him. That is no reason to turn a blind eye to the FACT that his record so far is very underwhelming though.

He's had 21 games not 38.

ok just imagine klopp hadn't got liverpool running and passing more in a competitively increased league we'd be worse off that's the point I'm making, clearly you missed it..

'underwhelming' or not it still doesn't explain why people admit klopp has brought out a lot more in a fair few of the players, and improved them

Klopp's 38 games? You are also taking into account the Dortmund games or what? If you really want to compare, take Rodgers games this season (including cups maybe) and then compare with Klopp's games this season, because it is the same squad, otherwise its like comparing apples with oranges which will be stupid.

You can compare this or that number of games Klopp vs Rodgers but it does not escape the fact the difference is minimal but time is on Klopps side and let's see who he signs and gets rid of in the summer the real test
