Why was it a great result, because its meaningless in the league as 4 was gone so no real damage there. It reveals a lot for klopp.
Flanno is great to have in reserve we need his scouse heart.. Not a starter.
Skrtel is gone in summer (he common denominator in rotten defending for a long time, today he came on we went to shyte) or will be a cup player or just squad player. Lovren/matip/mama good enough.
Cm needs toughening up any hard man wanayama for example makes us shyt bricks maybe grujic will sort that.
Sturridge has lost all pace but still quality finisher.
Teke should be sold in summer.
Origi developing nicely.
We need leaders panicked big time today when they got a hold.

Some of thats for summer but klopp will have learned for the only important game left.....bvb

Blessing my arse, if you call that a blessing Sam, what would you call a curse? It was a shameful disgrace the way they meekly surrendered a 2 goal leadŷ in the second period. No courage, no fight, no desire, no self respect, and just like Man U no balls!

Blessing is temporary.curse is permanent (Liverpool for last 25 years or so)
i really don't see it as a curse, I just think we had our time and it's gone now, Clubs Like Leeds United and Everton were also big and famous clubs a long time ago are no longer part of the equation and I wouldn't say they were cursed either myself like...

I would say they are a top club who has had a bad season, United are a top Club who have had two bad seasons, City are a top Club who have also had a bad season, then you come to Arsenal a toppish Club maybe who has had about 10 poor seasons then you get to Liverpool mid table club who apart from the miracle of Istanbul is a mid table Club who have had 26 poor seasons and Everton also mid table with 29 poor seasons...

Liverpool are the fifth biggest club in the country are they not? Hardly mid table any more than Chelsea are or Leicester are a top club.

think there is a bit of a cut off point tho in some ways, United, City, Chelsea and to some degree Arsenal go into each season with there eyes on winning the League, then you have Your Clubs Like Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa plus the newly promoted ones looking to avoid relegation so you have Clubs at either end, next you have Clubs like Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, West Brom and Stok City's who don't expect to win leagues and don't expect to get relegated, these Clubs are your firmly mid table Clubs, having said that every 15 or 20 years you may get one of these mid table clubs have a good season and challenge for the League or be poor and be threatened with relegation, normal season for mid table mediocrity tho I'd the Premier League becomes a dead competition...

We're the 5th biggest club in the country and if you believe we don't go into a season with one eye on the league then you're wrong. Just because you profess it to be a dead competition and seem to be willing us to be a mid table team, the club will think differently and I for one am glad of that. The day we don't will be the day I give up supporting.

Listen I honestly think your letting your heart rule your head on this one and being influenced by a rich history from 30 years ago. I think it would be interesting to hear if others share your view that they still expect Liverpool to win and challenge for Leagues titles with the Big Clubs...

Not at all. As I've said, we're the 5th biggest club in the country, we can out spend a lot of clubs and have done so it's not unrealistic at all to think we can at the very least compete for 4th spot and the cups. You may be willing to give up and be happy to be mid table but I'm not.

The trouble has been the policies set down and mistakes made by FSG which has held us back. Had we kicked on from the season we were 2nd, I think this season could've been much different for us as could last, even with Rodgers in charge.

We looked flat in the second half probably after playing a hard game on Thursday, however, Klopp's changes were not inspired. We should have reinforced the midfield instead of continuing with 2 forwards. Regarding Skrtel, not sure if we could have risked Lovren after his yellow card, but with hind sight we should
