Absolute blessing that whole game. We look brilliant at times and going forward its coming good. Why was it a great result, because its meaningless in the league as 4 was gone so no real damage there. It reveals a lot for klopp. Flanno is great to have in reserve we need his scouse heart.. Not a starter. Skrtel is gone in summer (he common denominator in rotten defending for a long time, today he came on we went to shyte) or will be a cup player or just squad player. Lovren/matip/mama good enough. Cm needs toughening up any hard man wanayama for example makes us shyt bricks maybe grujic will sort that. Sturridge has lost all pace but still quality finisher. Teke should be sold in summer. Origi developing nicely. We need leaders panicked big time today when they got a hold.
Some of thats for summer but klopp will have learned for the only important game left.....bvb
Yeah I never believed we had top 4 in us because we are prone to feck ups like that. I don't want to see Skrtel play for us again. We now know what defender will be out the door in the summer. Benteke we will get 20m+ out the door as well. Grujic won't be sorting anything as far as I am concerned. Unless he is utterly brilliant he will take a season to bed in

Blessing my arse, if you call that a blessing Sam, what would you call a curse? It was a shameful disgrace the way they meekly surrendered a 2 goal lead in the second period. No courage, no fight, no desire, no self respect, and just like Man U no balls! But you cannot be surprised it happens. A run or 4-5 games does not change that. This team has been rolled over a number or times now and that will not change until a few of the personal are upgraded

Surprised I'm not really, but disappointed I am, I hate to see a gutless surrender like that when a side decides to use a bit of muscle on us.

As good as Liverpool were against City at Anfield recently and first Leg against United we have also got a performance like today in us to. I guess we are somewhere in between, that type of performance is typical of us mid table clubs, if we were as good as the City and United games all the time then we would be a top table team which for me we are a million miles away from becoming, the manager and players up to now are simply not good enough to make that step up for me...

I know you use the word performance, but I think you're reading too much into the result rather than performance - it's best to read into a bit of both most of the time. Each match is different as I've said previously, you're right if we were a top club/team right now/over this interrupted season and not a mid table club we would have found more consistency or been able to get them extra points to be in the top four. But I think we're closer than you think with 4 top signings, and stability we can get up there. If we genuinely were a mid table club as you are saying, then we wouldn't be able to challenge, even when the 'big boys' don't slip up or have an off season.

The definition of a mid table club is you are in the middle of the premier league listings which we are
A mid table club all day long we can produce a decent performance but not every week which is why we are where we are

I think the point you make about a couple of players away and a bit more consistency is all that's needed is another mid table club clichea, I think that statement can apply to any club in positions 6 to 14 with us included...

I mean what if man city drop out of the top four and finish 6th, what is their excuse?

I mean what if man city drop out of the top four and finish 6th, what is their excuse? yes your right it is deformed a tipsy turvey season not seen a worse one since we cam second a few seasons ago. I think if you look at that season and this one you can see certain contributing factors to why it's happened. If you look at the season we finished second, the season before we finished I think 6th then in the summer United, Chelsea, City and Everton all changed there manager and Spurs did soon after I think, so the five clubs who finished ahead were all in major transition, as soon as the managers bedded in a bit we went back to our normal position of 6th or 7th best club. If you look at this season again United are poor, City are poor and Chelsea were dreadful and sacked Mourinho this allowed a window and Spurs and Leicester have come through, Spurs are and have been a decent solid club which has improved each season under There manager so no real surprise but Leicester have come from nowhere and done really well, will they be there again next season deffo not, the reason being City, Chelsea and United will resume normal service with big summers of spending. The point I am making is when we finished second and Spurs and Leicester are doing well now is more to do with the big Clubs being so poor rather than them being top clubs...
