True the players agents are asking for obscene wages and the agents aren't doing to bad out of it. Time for the clubs too to say "enough is enough" the only place they will get comparable wages is China let them go if they are that shallow. Revolution is indeed in the air all the British papers are running with the rip off story Liverpool fans on Saturday were part of something that might be truly historic

Hope you're right there Stanley, and you may well be. The prices are indeed obscene and it looks like fans have had enough of it. As for players wages they too are obscene as you say, and I think it's high time FIFA got their own fingers out of the jam pot and got to grips with it before the feeding frenzy wreck's the game.

Carragher Walked Out Those who are opposing the protest take note! He is a Liverpool guy and a great servant of the club. Not only did he walk out, but he is also speaking out. Well dome Jamie. Carragher's walkout is a bit hollow in my eyes. Players wages are the main reason for the spiral of rising ticket costs. Did Carra ever do anything about that? He said that compared to other players his wages were fair.... well the club can say that about ticket prices too. The big problem is player and agent greed and power. the system is rotten. I agree with you mighty, the whole thing is rotten. There is so much wrong that it will take a huge effort for fans to complain and protest about it and will probably take a life time of constant protests for progress to be made if its even possible at all ?. The new stand ticket price hykes are just another way of money grabbing as much as they can before they leave, I heard an extra 2m will generated by the price hykes its not much in their eyes but still a decent amount to grab back before their exit. This extra money will not go on better players, transfer fees, or wages as someone else is suggesting. Fans need to take back their clubs from greedy owners and players the best way they can before the greed kills football all together. YNWA

John Aldridge too John is LFC to his core. Every Liverpool fan should be square behind this campaign and I have a feeling unless there is a fundamental change by FSG (unlikely) relations will deteriorate and this could hasten the exit of FSG i don't think it's a case of everyone not being behind it because we all are but I do think fans have to understand you need a certain quality of player if you want top four like most on here do and that type of player costs a small fortune in transfer fee and wages, to accommodate that the club say the ticket prices have to go up. In an ideal world you could have cheaper tickets and the top players but somethin has to give, fans probably need to decide what's more important to there own individual needs, for me I would rather have a mid table club that I could still go out and support but that's just for me, we are all different... give over, you make top four sound like the impossible promised land. Believe in, and carry through existing talent and build to the strengths of that existing talent, talismans emerge like Suarez did for us, Albrighton did for Leicester. Gerrard did for liverpool. A team improves whether it has confidence or determination/both, neither and it goes backwards. what is a team if not a group of players that don't stay together, it's not it's just a group of individuals.

I disagree I think probably one maybe two out of every five or six players bought for top class money works around all the clubs, for every one that works I could name five that don't......
